Season Card Reservations/Relocations Direct Debit update 11/6

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Anyone who is currently in seats that are about to become premium, when is your relocation date?

I have had my pack and mine says next Saturday 18th from 9am. Is everyone else in non premium seat the same date and are premium ones earlier?

Wish we had the continental style prices.
Half way line seats at either milan club, barca, real etc are astanomical

Aye maybe but £19 behind the goal in italy and i think the cheap seats in Spain average about £17, in Germany the cheap seats average at about £14, they do put the prices up hugely for champs league.
Yeah true and I'm in no way sticking up for the umpteenth price increase but I should imagine the 3rd tier South stand cheap seats season ticket prices won't be a million miles off that price for brand new/better facilities/view and in some cases no running track

And that is fantastic, the only problem is that there will not be enough, i think Manchester is a very poor area, i myself am only about a quid and a half over the national minimum wage and also paying for my lad as well, i hope i can relocate to the cheaper seats but think they will get snapped up very quick.

Not enough and the worry is that give it a few years after the North stands finished, they'll start increasing those seats beyond the working class man, my brother and my mate both go 3 to 4 times a season on my season tickets having been priced out a long time ago of not only season tickets but match day prices as well

If you have a continental run club (txiki & Soriano) you'll get a continental style ticket pricing system, simples

Wish we had the continental style prices.

Like the recent Barca away game? Cheapest tickets anywhere £74, £200+ in the centre blocks lower down.

Do you need to be on the wait list for juniors? My daughter is 3 this year and I'd like to get her a ticket now in anticipation of her going in a couple of years, I can always upgrade it for an adult when needed.

Yeah they put the prices through the roof for champs league games but we are talking league prices, the thread is about season tickets

I will get over the doubling of the Season Card price in 206 and find another seat.

I agree with Ric pointing out the big price increases on Twitter. The price hikes are not isolated incidents. I can't remember too many of the "I''m Alright Jack Crew" celebrating finding it hard to get tickets for Chelski - partly because the corporate Thames river cruisers got priority.

Be careful what you wish for. The efforts of administrators to seek corporate ticket sales will only get more desperate. In the unlikely event that we make the Champs League final one year, loyalty points won't be worth a lot of when tickets can be used as a carrot to seek corporate season cards.

The Skeikh and Khaldoon have done a lot of great things for which I will always be grateful. The people they have employed have come up Forever Blue, City Circles and priced out many lifelong fans!

If a fan can't afford any of the tickets on offer at City then they have been priced out of football full stop - by the game itself - not by City administrators. They may have been priced out of their current seat but that's because the best seats have been comparatively under priced for years. You can have the old prices as long as you accept a decrepit ground , no trophies & Pearce -esque football.

Thanks CC1

The fact is that some Blues have been priced out. I am not talking about Premier Seats in this respect.

Of course current season ticket holders can move to areas of the ground where season cards are cheaper. This might make financial sense for the Club and PB and others have rightly pointed out that we lag behind some other clubs in terms of corporate revenue. I liked his idea of a phased approach to the biggest price hikes. This would have given Club administrators the time to build up demand for the new corporate areas and would keep Blues who can afford to pay some more keep their current seats with friends and family for a while longer.

The track record of the administrators in trying to corporatise City has been dismal so don't expect this new corporate area to be a great success

Under the new pricing scheme there are about 2400 seats in the £1000+ bracket in blocks 221-225 and 206-210. Included in that figure there are a fair few which are already corporate anyway (block 225 for example) so your are not looking at much more than 4% of capacity. I understand the point you are making about "phasing" but from the clubs point of view i guess they see 4% as a small figure.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Clubs in Europe may have some of the most affordable season tickets, but they also have some of the most expensive.

AC Milan, for example, charge £3,600 for their most expensive season ticket, while one at Paris St-Germain can cost as much as £2,115. That's more than Arsenal's most expensive season ticket, which costs £2,013.

It's also pricey at Napoli and Inter Milan. They charge around £2,000 and £1,700 respectively.

As for match-day tickets, AC Milan again top the charts among the clubs we contacted. Their costliest match-day ticket is around £298.

The most expensive match-day prices at Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Paris St-Germain, Barcelona, Marseille, Atletico Madrid, Monaco and Juventus are all also over £100.

No club in England or Scotland has a match-day ticket more expensive than £100.
