Season Dilemma

should any of the rumours be true about Cavani, Falcao, Neymar, Isco etc then the chances of them joining us if we don't have champions league football next year are seriously lowered

It's basically choosing between f.a cup and champions league ..CHampions league by a mile you can't compare the two at all f.a cup is a nice trophy but strictly only for bragging rights and something to show after a season of hardwork champions league millions of dollars that can be reinvested in the club international exposure thus attracting high quality players to the club..no contest champions league all day

A few people were talking about football today in work, and this scenario was brought up. So, what would you rather have

A) Finish 5th and win the FA Cup.

B) Finish 2nd 18 points behind United, with no trophy?
b and then have a fair draw in the cl.

Why can't we just do the same as 2010-11?

Win the FA Cup and qualify for the Champions League

because that would be a decent finish to a difficult season. some on here would be horrified.

There is no "dilema"

And what's with all these fucking "what would you prefer" threads? We enter everything to win

Agreed.

The "What would you prefer" threads are completely stupid.

That's why I rarely, if ever participate in them.

Like them shitty wat you havin for tea thread's

I'm struggling to think what finishing 3rd will be like so 5th is unimaginable. We must secure Champions League football at a minimum as anything else is a regression. The FA Cup will be very welcome (U****d will have to lose somewhere along the line) but the league finish is a higher priority, IMHO.
