I always fancy us for the League & FA Cup as we have superb squad depth and it sounds like it's going to get better.

One of Premier League or Champions League.

League is always my preference but CL would be brilliant especially if this turned out to be Sergio's last season.

I'd really like us to bin off the league cup this year. The season is a fixture mess from the start and this competition should have been stopped. I'd play a youth team in it. League and CL should be the focus. It will be as good a chance as any to win them as I think we have a better set up than most for dealing with the turbulence.

However we should play as strong a team as possible. We are the only really big team now who plays a strong team each cup game.

It's a truly flawed competition but the Champions League has to won by City one day. I guarantee Sheikh Mansour wants that.
