thing is it doesn't sound like priority for away tickets, it sounds like guarantee.

which isn't fair when these wealthier blues will cut normal fans away and cup allocation and furthermore be able to tout if they're not as fair as many blues are.

There are plenty of 'normal' Blues who spend way, way over the quoted £2.5k and aren't even g'teed tickets.

Plus the fact that we are very likely to play more games and the fact that they are CL as well this idea seems to be a decent idea TBH.

Lets just hope they offer a payment option though ;-)

only if ticket allocations go up then yeah.

Just because we're aiming for success, doesn't mean we should have to accept being priced out when we've supporting the club in the dark days.

We want reward, not forcing out.

You want Champions League, FA Cups, fighting for the PL title but want to keep paying mid table no trophy money?

It doesn't work like that - might have done without the FFP rules but not now.

You've got to remember that we have enjoyed some of the lowest ticket/season ticket prices in the top half of the PL for a long time. It couldn't last when we hit the big time.

Use the time you spend on here working instead - that'll cover it ;-)

Erm, I can accept a price increase, it happened this season!

Oh and FYI, I have a pretty well paid job and will be renewing.

Re: Superbia - Membership 2011/12

What happens if we go out of all the cups in the first rounds?

I never said I agree with the idea - just pointing out the fact that now we are there (or thereabouts) things like this will happen.

Don't forget mate - I was also there during our darker times.

Re: Superbia - Membership 2011/12

Just thinking:

We've moaned recently about the FA creating a black market for tickets, which comes about because of Club Wembley and the 'neutral' tickets.

What the is 'Superbia membership' does is create another black market. Say we've given the top 1,500 loyalty points a chance to sign up, and 33% do.

that's 500 tickets immediately snapped up for every away game. So it rolls round to Blackpool away and suddenly there's only 800 tickets for everyone else. The blues on the 'Superbia' scheme don't fancy the game and decide to get a bit of their £2.5k back by selling above face value, as they know the demand for tickets is so much higher than the supply.

Let's see what's said tomorrow... we could all be getting things totally wrong.

If you're on the gold membership or whatever it'll be then you should be allowed to sell your away ticket back to the club at face value to be sold on in the allocation to the rest.

Still want a way of fans who have sold tickets to someone else above face value to be caught and banned.

Would you put a limit on that? I could, in theory, pay £2.5k for my 'Black card' make a chunk of that back by selling all the aways back to the club, go to both derbies and guarentee my cup final ticket, renew again next year and do the same thing.

Whilst people below my membership pay for every away game, get shafted by not being able to make the Utd's and Blackpool type games and then year after year just miss out on Final tickets because the 'Black CArds' have decided they want to attend now its a final.

That'd defy the whole point of paying £2,500 for a whole season...

That already happens - it's called "Club Wembley".
