I have read that to change the date or amount (including reduction) they have to inform you so that would be some task I guess, and would there have been enough time to arrange all this in time to amend the 1st April payments. I meant seasoncards, not payment cards. But we simply don't know how City's systems work. The payment system (which is completely separate from the ticketing system although there's obviously a link) may well be able to stop collection of the DD, as you say, but the ticketing system might not be able to stop cancellation of the seasoncard if no payment is received.Direct Debit payments are nothing to do with "Cards"
When you enroll to the scheme you complete a DD mandate ( account number and sort code) this allows the club to effectively take the payment from your account. DDs do not expire, if no payment demands are made for 13 months they become dormant. So, its possible for the club to suspend payments for up to 13 months without any issue
DD's are essentially an instruction from you to your bank to allow the specified merchant to collect whatever they want, whenever they need to collect it. It's in the DD T&C's that the merchant has to give you notice what they're going to collect and when. So at the start of the season you get a letter telling you what payments are going to be taken and when.Aren’t ours ongoing as well?

I think I've seen the Direct Debit blurb sent out with renewal packs each time and online it used to show different direct debits in place (current and ended) on my account but seems to have been cleaned up now. Maybe you're right but the point is the club wouldn't really know when to restart the payments because everyone would be in a different position. Just seems easier and neater to get the final payment in and offer some help to those who really can't afford it now.Aren’t ours ongoing as well?

If they can play a quarter of the season without fans then they may as well play all future seasons without fans.
We can also all stump up £800 year for non existent season tickets and a further £20 a month each for Sky, Bt and Amazon and everyone’s happy.
I couldn’t agree more.its crazy even to think the (EPL) are putting pressure on players and managers to play and i just don't get it ? money money money and i can bet the call is coming from liverpool and united ? because they can not lose all the money they have spent and never think about the future ? just like the debts they have run up its all about the here and now and fuck tomorrow
they was saying the top clubs could lose up to £500 million in revenue with prize money tv rights media rights and sponsorship and having to pay it all back if they void the season. now that would be funny seeing how the FFP would work in losing that amount of money in the space of 6 months
we all know the truth and its money and greed but most of all. clubs like utd and liverpool could not lose £500million in one big hit and lump it on to the debt ?? if united had to do that there total debt would be over £1billion and it would can you start the fans please moment
