Season ticket payments - refunds/credits due by June 19th

I got my Madrid refund back last month. If you rang supporters services they credited the money back within three days.

Yeah I suppose you can cancel it when you want, but they remove you from the cup scheme and you don’t get the points for it all do you, if you cancel.

It says you have to wait until a decision has been made.

Since the middle of March I’ve had emails from Barclaycard, Halifax, HSBC, First Direct, Santander, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Caravan Club, V12 finance, Six by Nico’s to name but a few. Each one of them a large corporate entity, except the caravan one. All of them explaining what’s happening and offering support if I need it.
To be fair I have had an email from City, telling me about the ‘new exciting range’ they have introduced.

Whatever they decide to do is up to them but the fact they really don’t seem to be arsed enough about their customers to even let them know what the current position is and when they will let us know the outcome in the future.
To me it shows that the likes of the banks and the supermarkets care more about my custom than my local football club.
It’s one of the reasons I’m using this time in isolation to really contemplate what I’m going to do with regards to City going forward.

Can I just ask, where are some people getting the information about the money coming off next years season ticket from? Has something else been said? Seen people on twitter saying this as well.

The email we all received in March said
  • ” Please note that we will continue to operate as usual at this time and take the final Direct Debit payment for Seasoncards on the 1st and 15th April. This will ensure that you are able to return to the stadium as soon as the season resumes or alternatively, will receive a pro-rata refund should matches not go ahead as planned. “

So, a refund if the games are cancelled or behind closed doors. We should all be receiving 6 league games, plus the Madrid money back in our accounts shouldn’t we?

A poster mentioned it page before you posted this,Grant,he said he had spoken to a lady in ticket office, but can't understand whether she said that to him,or it was his assumption, read it see what you make of it.

I dont think its been fully confirmed; but it is 1 of two options - 1) 6/19ths refunded in cash or 2) 6/19ths credit against next year.

I presume city wont want to part with cash in hand and will do what they did in previous seasons with the Ticket exchange and just credit your card next season.

For many years i often sold 6 games per season on the exchange and overlapped it into the following season. Keep my costs down as a student with a 1/3 off.
