Season ticket payments - refunds/credits due by June 19th

I pay for 3x adults in my family, as we struggle for money in these time’s, they have taken £260 this month. Im owed about £600 quid for games we aren’t going to see this season, plus I’ve got £150 quids worth of Real Madrid tickets sat on the mantelpiece. I really thought our club would be front runners in this for a good bit of PR but I’ve heard feck all.

Yeah It’ll be easy for them just to say payments will be still taking out as Norman until the premier say it is null and void if it is a full refund will be made.

it’s not cost your more on your season ticket though Has it, That’s the whole point. It’s definitely 1/19 per game for any refunds we get.

No that's fair enough if it definitely is the way it will be done, but my lad has sold tickets via the club /viagogo or whatever it is,a season or two back, and for example got more for the Arsenal game than he did for West Brom,so got me thinking, that's all.

Put it this way I'd have got £60 on here if I sold my Liverpool game for my seat, but probably £30 for say Newcastle as like the old times of categories A-B-C.

But I'll take your word for it,in that case I'd be owed £285 x 2

yeah viagogo you could set your amount, you could even crank the price right up a make money on the big games.
I know what you mean though with the bigger games, it’s just 1/19th regardless of the game, but if you sold it for say the Liverpool game through the club, you would get 1/19th of your season ticket but the club would sell your ticket at match day prices making a profit on your seat.

Yea fair enough that mate, probably no refund anyway,so no point in me getting giddy

Looks like I’m out then, they’ve cancelled mine.
As if I’m going to be phoning them begging to pay for something I’m not receiving!
They could have suspended the payments like the mortgage companies have done?
I have more important things going on atm to be wasting my time with vultures.
****S!

This looks like an automated message. It's probably too late now but I would have recommended that you called the club to explain you weren't in a position to pay this final installment rather than do nothing and allowing your SC to be cancelled. They might not have offered anything different but at least then you would know they don't give shit. If they want to rub salt in the wounds they could flag your failure to pay on your credit record and this can create lots of problems.

The general advice in these types of situations is never to either cancel a direct debit or not to have funds in place to make payment. You should talk to the creditor organisation to see what they can do for you.

I don't think you'll be alone.
When the Arsenal game was called off I thought we (the fans) would be attending games in August at the latest.
To be honest I can't see grounds being opened until December/New Year.
Clubs need to be careful that they don't take season ticket holders for granted, because with so much time on their hands people are revaluating their priorities.
