Season Ticket Waiting List | Sold Out

A few seasons back City ordered the full 3,000 at Chelsea but sold short of 2,000 ending up having to stump up for the shortfall. Following season City only ordered 1,500. I remember because I missed out on that game.
Which season was that? We only took small allocation until about 2011, going right back to 2000.

The club sometimes said we have 3k and then sold out, Chelsea allowing them to be returned if sales where slow. Then when they enforced sale or return we always took the lower allocation.

City started taking the lowest allocation for most clubs enforcing sale or return following Birmingham City in August 2004 when it cost about £40k. Then we played Pompey and only asked for 1,100.

Can't remember exactly, round about 2014/15. My points were just short of getting a ticket. After that I built my points up to never missing a game. I asked City why didnt order the full amount and they said, because they didn't sell out the previous season which cost the club money. Will check my diaries to see which year I didn't attend a Chelsea game.

2014/15 was City in the City and we got full allocation, also the tickets were half price so I went upper tier for £29.50.

They sold out at 11k points and Arsenal which was also half price sold out at 9k points, which was a much bigger gap in those days due to all the hospitality tickets, and loads of people were pissed off, with one claiming we returned tickets.

We did take lower allocations until 2011/12 I believe but can't remember it not being sold out.

Brutal :)
But accurate tbf. There are different CM reps for different sections of the fan base, and I’d guess silver straddled different briefs.

I’d imagine some of the issues raised here would be the domain of the sustainability group or the families rep, as well as the ticketing group and the sc rep. Doesn’t look like there’s a specific Cityzens/match day rep, though I may be mistaken.

There should be a Habitual Moaners rep. But that would need to be a full time job.

Random question please Blues.. Tragically our kid passed away on Wednesday at 56 after a short stay in hospital .. it’s still pretty raw obviously but eventually I think that his partner may ask me if I want to take over his seat in 315 (we sat together) .. Any idea if the club will let me transfer the seat into my name or my son’s name to keep Simon’s memory alive?

Sorry for your loss mate hope you're doing OK.

I can't see the club getting in the way to be honest as long as you explain the situation to them.
