I have to relocate myself and my 3 lads as we no longer qualify for Family stand.

Only place we can get 4 close enough together at the moment is 101/102 front 4 rows ish.
I am worried that it will make the game hard to see....

What are the chances of 4 close seats being released in level 2 south in relocation window? I assume not a high chance.....although ticket office said better seats will be available.

Dont know whether to wait and see how it goes or just make sure we have our seats and get 101/102

Decisions, decisions

Getting 4 together wont be easy in Level 2. This is where the system falls down for me. They must have specified seats they sell on a match by match basis and they must have 4 together somewhere other than front row.

I wouldnt want to sit on front row.Completely different view and get pissed wet through every time it rains.

didnt even consider the rain, never crossed my mind.

Think I am going to have to get up to around 15 rows back for a decent view.

it was because fans near you voted you as the best person to watch a game with 3rd class if you had come first it would have been £80 off

We tried relocating last year to save a bit of cash. We got level one near the back but even there the view was not as good.We also got sat next to a very large bloke so had no room! We moved back straight away.

The 6/7 seats next to me are always taken by different people each game so there must be 4 spare somewhere.

Which block are you mate?

Also, there are seats up in the gods around row V and W. I have never been that high so have no idea what view is like. I guess I have just been spoiled with level 2 for too many years.

234 - prices are a bit steep now they have padded the seats! Think a fair amount of corporates go in that block.

I have sat next to back row of tier 3 and I thought it was ok. Much better than row 1 thats for sure!

Thanks for the input. 234 is no good for me, its family stand isnt it.? I have to move from 235 now. I will consider 3rd tier if I cant get my level 2 :)

Re: season ticket renewals

Renewed mine in 105 East Stand. Now just awaiting the annual farce of the card not arriving in time, phone calls, time off work to go down to the ticket office etc. Had this for the last three years, or is it four? I don't anticipate this year being any different, sadly.
I did ask why there can't be an option to pick your card up in person after a certain date, but was told it 'wasn't feasible for logistical reasons'

Re: season ticket renewals

I will be renewing on Sat thanks to the members of the Eccles Supporters branch, as some of you may know i run the branch along with my Villa supporting wife, and due to my wife being out of work and having a young family i could not afford to renew my seasoncard next season after 30 years of following the blues.

So we had our end of season party on Sat night and i found out that all the branch members had chipped in to pay for my season card next season...wow !! so a BIG thanks to all the members of the OSC Eccles branch.
