Season Tickets 2012/13 [MERGED]

Re: season ticket renewals

Not renewed yet. Do we get something through the post?

Waiting until the first week in June when my uncle gets back from holidays

Re: season ticket renewals

Does anyone know at what age a child is required to have his own seat?
My 5 year old has been sitting on my knee all season and never had any grief taking him in through the turnstiles with me.

I'm slightly concerned as I did mine on the second day but the money still hasn't been taken from my account.

Re: season ticket renewals

I'll be renewing to the tune of £650 in EL1, around £33 per game.

Let's not pretend that's a bargain because it's common place for top clubs to charge scandalous prices to loyal (stupid) fans.

If we see a further 10% increase in 12 months (20% in 2 years) will everyone still be happy then?

I don't think we can afford to give the impression of being indifferent to rising ticket prices, of course we remain grateful for the investment into our club, but this 'Dare not come across as ungrateful. Stick my rear end in the air, close my eyes and hum Bluemoon while club suits fuck me - "Price of Success!"' attitude is only taking us in one direction.

I'd hate to see us go the way of Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge.

Well the fact my season card is the same price as last season even though we've won the league, I'd consider it a bargain!

That's a bit of an "i'm alright jack" attitude though isn't it - it's ok for you as yours hasn't gone up, but mine has gone up £50 for the 2nd season running. Anyone who doesn't think a hundred pound increase over just 2 seasons isn't a big deal needs their heads examining. And as ecstatic as i am we won the league (duh!) all these billions of "it's such a bargain" and "it's so cheap to see the champions" are a bit much, lets hope the club don't read them! You're setting us all up for a big fall here, this time next year i reckon we'll have passed £700 for a level one east/colin seat. I think i'm right in saying only 3 years ago it was £460. Just because we're champions (yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!) doesn't mean we've all had massive pay rises, and just because it's not £1000 like london clubs people seem to think it's great - well wages and house prices are a ton more than manc, which is why their clubs get away with it.

From what I remember reading once, there is no official policy on it but I think as long as their small enough to carry and sit on your knee, the stewards are told to let them in for free.

I got stopped last year from carrying my lad in off some jobsworth fucker but to be fair he is 17 and 6 foot 2.

I have to relocate myself and my 3 lads as we no longer qualify for Family stand.

Only place we can get 4 close enough together at the moment is 101/102 front 4 rows ish.
I am worried that it will make the game hard to see....

What are the chances of 4 close seats being released in level 2 south in relocation window? I assume not a high chance.....although ticket office said better seats will be available.

Dont know whether to wait and see how it goes or just make sure we have our seats and get 101/102

Decisions, decisions

This may sound ridiculous but contact the ticket office and ask them to check for 2 lots of 2 split over 2 adjacent rows or even a 1 directly behind a 3. If you don't ask them to check this they don't ! I know a couple of people went down this route and to be honest it can actually be easier than having you all in a row with kids.

Re: season ticket renewals

I haven't read posts or threads about this but is anyone having difficulty renewing online? It won't take my card despite being paid today. Gonna have to call and pay booking fee!
