Season Tickets 2018-19 - 3% average increase reported

I’m now down to £53 a month DD as I had resale credits to cash in. I won’t be rejoining the CL or League Cup schemes as they’re midweek and I’m away.

One more time in 117 before I fuck it off for good. Twenty years has been a good innings.

if I put that everyone would call me a c..t.

It is not bad for the season tickets but at £58 quid a game I think it is a bit steep. Should be tenner for kids and 30 for adults for pay on the day - that would be a bargain. We have to encourage younger fans to help the atmosphere.

Doing a good job at pricing as many out as they can. Didn't Kompany do his masters regarding the home team advantage and atmosphere as well? United have got it right (pains me to say it) with their cheap tickets for Under25s.

Spot on. The pricing for kids has to be better on the day. Any kid up to the age of 15 won't really remember a "shit" City team and in the next 5-10 years these need to have cheaper access on the day or via seasoncards. This generation upwards have to be tapped into.

When you consider the cost of the cup games, which are generally priced really well, and the priority you get for cup semi finals and finals etc I'd never give up being on those schemes, but the increase albeit nominal just seems pointless, particularly with the additional revenue that comes in from other income streams. Can only think City are just trying to close the gap on the likes of Utd whose season ticket prices tend to be dearer. Matchday revenue remains one of our weaker income streams compared to other "big" clubs though, doesn't it @Prestwich_Blue?
Just got to go out so will respond properly later but revenue from general tickets (i.e. not premium, which is anything better than 93:20) is about £25m, give or take a couple of million. That's 5% of our overall revenue this season. So the increase of 3% on that 5% represents an potential increase overall in revenue of 0.15% even assuming people all stay on cup schemes and Platinum.

Where we're not making enough money is on hospitality. There are empty seats in CBL2 every game, from the Joe's/93:20 areas by the South Stand to the Chairman's Club in the middle. Plus I don't think all the executive boxes are sold, which is why you often see players in them for games. They had to drastically reduce Tunnel Club prices from those originally announced to fill it. Everything suggests that the demand for hospitality just ins't there and that's where the money comes from. Someone told me a while ago that the rags get 60% of their match-day revenue from hospitality and that's just over 10% of the total capacity at the swamp. So either the demand isn't there or we're doing something wrong. Whichever, we're paying (literally) for it.

Personally think the continuous rises are disgusting.

I always give my ticket away for free to family or friends so my seat can be used as I'm in the country only once or twice every coupke of years.

Thanks City. You have just priced me out.

Thanks for your loyal support Ricster but now you can't afford it you can get fucked. I also know my father will be in the same position.

Thats how i feel right now. Fuck you for sacrificing so much over the hard times.

Gutted

just had my email that it is £1295 for my seat in 93:20 but can't remember how much it was last year. Anybody remember? I will renew but would like to do a comparison.

First season was £1225, last season was £1250, so gone up £45 for next season. Just got my email. That's an increase of £70 in the last two seasons. Genuinely thinking of relocating now. Posh seat, a free programme, and a bar on European nights aint worth an extra £400 over and above my old seat in the East stand.
I'm dropping the cup schemes, especially the Champs league after being surrounded by Gladbach, Celtic and Dipper fans over the last three seasons.

Mine in family level 2 gone up £15 to £580, my lad’s up £5 to £135 so £20 up in total, call it a quid a game, lol. Can live with that.
