Season Tickets - 2023/24

Cant complain £330. Think it is my sixth season of value gold. Had brilliant seats every time. Equivalent renewal cost of the seat I’ve just had was £880.

Bizarrely I could renew that and buy a value gold should I have wanted.
Once you've ordered your "new" value gold, do you cancel your renewal of last years?

Would add up to two games a season! Does my head in seeing people leave so early.
I've got past caring these days apart from if someone is leaving their seat either early for beer or to go home.... fucking we'll go, don't fanny about stopping, talking, shaking hands with people etc you're stood up, stooping 6 inches makes no difference....I made a friend last night, I think he's my friend now and he's visually offered me 2 pints next game.

Going on 85mins would save me 20 mins or so getting home & my lad over 30 mins but it's never a consideration.

In 50+ years I've left 3 times early, one when rough as fuck, Derby away 6-0 & in a cup game we were coasting when Mrs Moon was recovering from Chemo.

I did notice arse had their usual protest walk out against Chelsea, it's not just us by any stretch, seems a whole football thing.

Funny how the same people can stay for 60 mins or so after the game for a presentation, nobody must have a family party to go to, hospital appt, be bad on thier legs on those days.

FFS I've gone into a bit of a rant.

If i relocate do i need to renew or leave it to renew automatically and then relocate in the appropriate window ?

I don't doubt that some will have genuine reasons for leaving early and absolutely sympathise with those like you in the position where it's not a choice. However, I stand by my view that I will never understand those others who choose to leave with a lot of time remaining in a match. Will agree to disagree on that.
Buckle up Buttercup. It’ll only get worse once The Co-op venue has gigs on the same day. Will even affect people on Saturday / Sunday as people arrive early ahead of an event.

I am surprised that the Value Golds haven't sold out yet. Previously they used to sell out within the first hour or so. Is this a glitch? I'd have thought cost of living crisis might push a lot more people to downgrade to leaving their regular seat and opting for a Value Gold which would at least keep them in the stadium ...

Tried to call them to ask this and also emailed with no luck with a reply so far.

I received an email with the purchase of my value gold season ticket. It is related to my supporter number so I won’t be having a second card. I see no reason to go in and cancel.
@Lenblue

There is no need to renew or cancel your old tickets. Once you have purchased the new Value Gold ... that will become your default ticket and the old one will lapse automatically - whichever it was (whether value gold from current season or a regular platinum/gold/silver one)

I'm actually surprised they are continuing to do them. I don't know how many they release? and whether that number is the same year on year?

Maybe there is more Value Golds than I initially thought and therefore more difficult to do away with. With the rising cost of matchday prices I was pretty sure the end would be nigh.
