Season Tickets - 2023/24

They are all the individual seats that haven’t been sold and would be tricky to sell on a match by match basis. I have a really good seat this season, gutted to be moving on, the people either side of me are top blokes but the price is nearly £400 cheaper , as I go on my own it’s a no brainer for me. I hope they keep doing this ticket for ever.

Similar situation to myself. Started getting the supporters bus for travel but not arsed about sitting with any of them at the game itself. Spend enough time with them on the bus and having a pint or two at the bar beforehand.

I know they're individual tickets but I've seen them selling ridiculous corporate and hospitality packages with single tickets for extortionate prices on here. Even if they just sell that ticket for Liverpool and Utd for £200 plus each with a pie and a program or whatever they've made more than the Value Gold price and have 17 other fixtures they could sell on at £60 plus.

As you say I hope they stick around but I thought they'd be getting the chop with the way individual matchday prices are heading and some of the underhanded tactics the ticket office are now employing.

I'm actually surprised they are continuing to do them. I don't know how many they release? and whether that number is the same year on year?

Maybe there is more Value Golds than I initially thought and therefore more difficult to do away with. With the rising cost of matchday prices I was pretty sure the end would be nigh.

When they were introduced and they were over the phone or at the ground only, they we’re definitely limited. No idea to how many but they used to sell out pretty sharpish.

I get the impression since they opened SS3 and a lot switched from Value to the back of that stand for the same price, they’ve pretty much let as many as they like get a Value most, if not all seasons, as long as they were renewals.

The supporters club said they MAY get a few off the club and I've requested one last night. Had less than a day to do so and had to pay up front with no guarantee of getting one. Priority goes to those who have been going on the bus this season. I'll have probably been knocking on 20 games by the end of the season (not all on the bus) so I must stand a reasonable chance of getting one as I assume most of those that are on the bus are already existing season ticket holders.

I'd probably relocate to SS3 too instead of re-newing the Value Gold the following season even if it is a little bit dearer than the Value Gold itself. As Colin Bell's Holdall has mentioned he's got used to the people he's around and now he will be moving elsewhere next season. Huge downside of it for me.

They are a fantastic option. For all the “the club only cares about tourists “ comments. To have the option of watching the best team in the country for less than most lower league teams, should get some credit.

I had one for about five years when times were a bit harder for me and a payment plan wasn’t so straight forward. And to be fair, even though they made a point of emphasising it wasn’t a guarantee, they put me and my mate together in every one of those seasons.

They certainly represent good value for money. Even though it's 'only' £330 I could have done with not paying that all in one lump sum without knowing if I'm actually getting one. Especially with the Madrid semi, potentially a Wembley trip on the cards and contemplating a trip to Instanbul. Guess they need to know people are serious about getting one and there aren't any time wasters.

One of my mates is in East Stand 3 and I'd sooner be in South Stand 3. He prefers the view whereas I would rather have a bit more atmosphere.

I've got past caring these days apart from if someone is leaving their seat either early for beer or to go home.... fucking we'll go, don't fanny about stopping, talking, shaking hands with people etc you're stood up, stooping 6 inches makes no difference....I made a friend last night, I think he's my friend now and he's visually offered me 2 pints next game.

Going on 85mins would save me 20 mins or so getting home & my lad over 30 mins but it's never a consideration.

In 50+ years I've left 3 times early, one when rough as fuck, Derby away 6-0 & in a cup game we were coasting when Mrs Moon was recovering from Chemo.

I did notice arse had their usual protest walk out against Chelsea, it's not just us by any stretch, seems a whole football thing.

Funny how the same people can stay for 60 mins or so after the game for a presentation, nobody must have a family party to go to, hospital appt, be bad on thier legs on those days.

FFS I've gone into a bit of a rant.
I always wonder what people do with that extra 20 mins they save.what does it it matter? You go to bed at 11.15 or 11.35? I get people with young kids and shift workers etc but there were many thousands who left last night . The north stand was almost empty, the top tier east stand too. Yes we had won the game but the week earlier we had won too but no one left that.
