Season Tickets - 2023/24

To be honest I had to ask 3 times before I received that email and had to say to them that they weren’t even reading what I was asking in the email, the first few times they said they didn’t know if any season tickets were going on sale, I kept pointing out that that’s not what I am asking.
Sounds very similar to the conversation I had with them. I purposefully said at the very start of the conversation that I understood that there’s a possibility that no further season tickets would go on sale and I just wanted to know the process of possibly buying one for a child.

Thanks for this. I did ask City myself and they said I wouldn’t be able to purchase a child’s ticket alone and when I asked well how do I potentially purchase one for a child, the guy couldn’t answer me and just kept reverting back to that he doesn’t know if any further season tickets were going on sale. It was a difficult conversation and it would’ve been easier if he just admitted he wasn’t sure on the process. Ha

The guy wouldn’t be able to answer you because the club don’t have a policy on how it is possible to ever add a child season ticket to accompany an existing adult one, unless the seat next to you happens to be available and you manage to grab it during a window for new sales.

Your only hope is to relocate your own ticket(s) to a spot where there is a spare seat next door. Be waiting with a valid match day membership for the child for an announcement that any new season tickets are being made available. Then if all that happens and you’re lucky enough to get as far as being offered one, hope that seat is still available.

Alternatively, the online system isn’t, or at least wasn’t, set up to enforce the rule about children sat alone. So if you can grab one for them anywhere, do that and make do for a year and look to relocate the following season.

Absolute shit our ticket website... I'm trying to renew as I want to come off 2 cup schemes as working mid week nights and can't attend anymore. When I come to pay it's saying my sort code is not in the correct format yet it is as I've tried it every way possible! Anyone else having or had this issue?

If you’re child is young enough/quite small you should read the sneaking kids in thread!

Adding a child season ticket to an existing accompanying adult one is something that City Matters should be bringing up at the next meeting. It’s an issue I had in the past. I’m convinced the club haven’t got a policy on it simply because they haven’t thought about it.

Trying to renew season ticket online with credit card and when I click on payment it takes me to Queue It and says Real Madrid event closed !
@CPPSC Same here. I want to downgrade from Platinum to Gold. It simply will not process the request. It is an awful site, it does not function properly and I am really pissed off. I've tried phoning but I have a life and usually have to hang up after 45 minutes.

Last time I did it a few years ago, I found a seat about two rows down and four across from mine. Was on the verge of sealing the deal over the phone when the guy suddenly went… hang on, he’s too young to sit on his own. I said… it’s ok I know the bloke next to him, he’ll keep an eye on things. He thought about it for a few seconds and then said… no can’t do it.

So I hung up, went online and did it there no problem at all in less than a minute.

I only phoned up because I wanted to make sure they knocked the membership fee off I’d just bought but it did it automatically online anyway.

Thats what I currently do with the lad, but the daughter is older and for the 3 of us to go I need two seats :-)
Then you probably need to add a couple of years on to your daughters age with a new junior membership (nudge nudge)they don’t require id, get it done soon as possible in prep for ST release, if successful, next year after you’ve relocated call & cite a clerical error on the age

Maybe they could have a second relocation window (and be honest with what seats the club holds back) for those who have been successful & purchased a junior ST, then adult & child can relocate together, the current impasse is ridiculous, most people have children at some stage, it might be something @dannybcity can help with, he’s the family rep at CM & really helped me out with a similar (ish) problem
