I’m sure you’ve good intentions but that’s bad advice. Not how Value ones work.

See below for my reply to the other chap. VG's (if any are issued this year) are offered after renewals and then relocations. If he doesn't do as I have suggested, he ends up with the possibility of no Seasoncard at all, as there may be no VG's.

If VG's are issued, and even if he has renewed and relocated, he can still try for one and if successful he will end up on VG.

My advice is about him not losing out altogether by asking him to think about SS3 at £385 as a fallback to avoid total wipeout!

My apologies if that is correct. I have not looked myself but in years past, VG's were always released after all the renewals and relocations. If that is different this year and they are available then I stand corrected. What I cannot understand is if that is so, is why he cannot purchase one himself now?

Automatically renews without doing anything, you only have to respond if you are cancelling or changing payments. Once the renewal window shuts you then have a further window to change seats etc. Thats how i understand it anyhow. I have had same seat for last 4 seasons and never had to do anything

Pretty painless renewal today, the new direct debit in July option is pretty helpful too.

No need to do anything. Will automatically renew around the 15/16th of this month.

Anybody who already pays DD monthly installments is on automatic renewal.

Anybody who usually pays up front, is not.

They can change to automatic renewal by setting up a DD mandate in the renewal process in this window.

I had to renew online today even though I'm a gold season ticket holder just like you both.
Took about 3 minutes and would advise you do the same.

Yes I am a season ticket holder and I have renewed the gold value today online as per guidance from Colin Bells Holdall.

Just a time saving tip if you are renewing online. If you are paying by direct debit, when you get to inputting your bank sort code, click on the adjacent "look up" button to populate your bank details.
I didn't notice this until my umpteenth attempt and couldn't work out why the site wouldn't process my payment!

Good shout. That's a really poor piece of user design.
