Season Tickets - 2024/25

They have given the prices for one stand, and if you attend all 19 games so it’s a reasonable assumption to say the maths will work out
the same for all areas. East stand level 3 is £705 for 19 games plus £150, not sure how that compares to a S/C.
It cant possibly be cheaper than a season ticket, even if you aim to attend all the matches.
If you have a ST, you can resell on the exchange matches you dont go to and get the money pro-rated refund.
With this pay as you go, the matches you cant get to just make the initial £150 more expensive per match.
Not sure what the upside over a gold ticket is.

The upside is that you get to choose your seat for the season. That could be important for people that want to be near their friends/family and especially for adults who want their young children next to them. It's certainly not for everyone though.

Well it won’t be cheaper than a S/C with the £150.Obviously the less matches you go to the £150. makes it more expensive / game but still a lot cheaper than £35 Cityzen membership and 10 match day tickets. Having said that it’s not really aimed at a S/C holder that goes to 19 games.
Either current S/C holders those looking to go less but not end up in a match ticket scramble.
Or those that can’t get a S/C this probably gets them up the ladder if more S/C are available after the extension.
Or matchday ticket buyers that can make the 10 game minimum.
Plus those with a silver S/C now.
Not sure how many of these there will be but expect them to get snapped up.

From what I can read, this is only on offer to current ST holders.
I havent seen anywhere that new tickets are on offer.
(Am happy to be corrected).

Our matchday revenue has been underreported in previous years (not maliciously I might add) because of the way we accounted for hospitality income.

Basically, F3 (Fabulous Fan Fayre) paid us a fee, and they bore all the costs but also took the revenue. So if they paid us, say 10% and hospitality food and drink revenue was £20m, we'd get £2m. In fact that was classed as commercial income, rather than matchday.

Partway through last season we changed so that we bore the cost but booked the revenue, which is why matchday revenue increased significantly. This financial year will be the first full one under the new arrangements so I'd expect matchday income to exceed £80m (it was around the £57m mark in 2022).

Based on a projected matchday revenue of £82m our pro-data revenue per head, based on maximum capacity of 53,500 will be just over £1,500 per person. If you do the same calculation for united, based on their 75k capacity, that comes to £1,450 per person.

We aren't lagging our peers therefore, and anyone who says we need the increases to catch up doesn't understand that.

No, a limited amount will be offered to qualifying matchday members, and I think the Silver S/C is being discontinued and will be offered the Flexi gold. So an upgrade for them.

Fair enough - I missed the bit about the limited new tickets.
For the silver, I have always classed them as ST holders as they were guaranteed tickets for the other 5 matches if they so wished.

How do you qualify for a flexi gold as a matchday member, is it based on points?

Silvers have been offered the opportunity for a full ST aswell, so it didn’t work out too badly for them in the end.

No one knows obviously as it’s City we’re talking about but I get the impression the majority are going to go to juniors.

I’ve been able to already ‘express an interest’ through a junior member account. But I don’t think adults have been given that opportunity yet.

Think it will probably be a lottery mate, matchday members will have to apply on the release date.

Get a load of new matchday members then before the release date.
