The club have quoted an average of £12.63 for 19 games on the Flexi Gold (£315-£75) in their example.Above were the cats for the cheapest tickets but £2 was added during the season to each type SSL1 SSL3.
Adult 65 18/21 u18 Ful/Pal/Bou/LT £49 £31 £31 £21 Forest/BH/SU/Eve/Burn/WW/AV/Burn £59 £41 £41 £31 Spurs/Newc/WHam £69 £51 £51 £41 Chelsea/Ar/Lp/MU £73 £55 £55 £45
Fans are starting to organise and to protest against the clubs. Obviously small steps, but the clubs are getting the message. It's better than doing nothing.

Is our club or any other any better really. We could do the same as we are oversubscribed currently and I expect some movement towards it. Clubs like Burnley couldn't as they can't afford to lose support, even FOCs.Deluded Spurs fans if they think their club has values that preclude this.
Right now it may make sense but we may not have the demand in 3 years time.Is our club or any other any better really. We could do the same as we are oversubscribed currently and I expect some movement towards it. Clubs like Burnley couldn't as they can't afford to lose support, even FOCs.
Football is a business and at the highest level over 65 concessions make no commercial sense whatsoever. They couldn't give a rats arse how long supporters have been going.
I'm all for a discount of some sort for O65s but 50% is ridiculous.Never understood why over 65s have a discount, as a proportion of the population they have the highest disposal income and unlike offering cheap tickets to students ect you arent securing any longer term income from them when they hit an age they have to pay full price.
yeah it should be free after over 60 years loyal support through shit then more shit. ;)Never understood why over 65s have a discount, as a proportion of the population they have the highest disposal income and unlike offering cheap tickets to students ect you arent securing any longer term income from them when they hit an age they have to pay full price.
Mine in mid SS3 is 34% currently. This year is the first it hasn't gone down as a proportion to the full price since I got it nearly five years ago.I'm all for a discount of some sort for O65s but 50% is ridiculous.
At least they are likely to be able to retire if they haven't already!
Yeah I checked for my dad last week when they released the prices. Almost 50% in SS2. Fuming ;)Mine in mid SS3 is 34% currently. This year is the first it hasn't gone down as a proportion to the full price since I got it nearly five years ago.
It is around 50% for more expensive areas though.
You could say the same for any concessions at any sporting event I guess. Not all pensioners have bags of cash, hidden away. You will probably feel different about it when you are 65 - if you’re lucky enough to make it that long.Never understood why over 65s have a discount, as a proportion of the population they have the highest disposal income and unlike offering cheap tickets to students ect you arent securing any longer term income from them when they hit an age they have to pay full price.

I don’t understand it either. Obviously very historical.Never understood why over 65s have a discount, as a proportion of the population they have the highest disposal income and unlike offering cheap tickets to students ect you arent securing any longer term income from them when they hit an age they have to pay full price.
We only need to look at the ticket prices on our USA pre season tour where we are heading match ticket price over here
