Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

I've just been checking on the NFC capabilities on my 12month old Nokia C32 and it appears that it is unable to use NFC .
I ain't buying another new phone, will there be an alternative way to going through the new turnstiles ??

I agree with you pal, but at the moment there are no barcodes on the digital ticket that arrived today.
I think I will send an email to supporter services in the morning and see if they can advise.
I'll post on here if I get any worthwhile information from them.

I've emailed City this morning, mentioning that I may have a problem at the turnstile with my non NFC phone, so I'll update on this thread when they reply to me.

In theory yes but when I try to add it says ive reached maximum allowed (2 I think) which I know is not correct.

Yes. I’ve now got 2 tickets on 2 phones. But it says on the email that 2 is the max. So I assume that’s my lot.

Mobile season tickets will no longer contain barcodes as the new turnstiles support NFC ticket scanning on a wider range of smartphones, meaning you should be able to scan in at the turnstiles by holding your phone near the technology (similar to a contactless payment). We are offering fans the opportunity to test their mobile season passes at Turnstile P of the stadium this week in case you would like to try this before the opening home match ️

Here we go again. The club keeps making things harder for season ticket holders and doesn’t seem to care about the problems it causes. Not everyone has a phone that works with this new system, and it’s just another example of the fans coming last. They say it’s about making things better, but it feels more like they’re just trying to make changes for the sake of it.

i had a plastic card last year cos of all the problems i had going in over the last few seasons with the crappy digital sc.if they dont give me a new one Im out,sick to fucking death of crap being forced apon me .

It's designed to piss people off so they give the season ticket up especially the older fans who don't pay as much.

I got home from work at 1.30pm today.
got the email about " downloading " the new seasoncard to my mobile,even though,when i renewed as usual they said i would receive another new phyisical seasoncard like had last year.
if all this shit starts again like the start of last season,I'm out ,i refuse all this digital android google pay bollocks.

Auto updates:-
1) Open Google Wallet and tap the three lines in the top left.

2) Go to Settings and turn on "Updates about your passes."

3) Restart your phone to refresh the ticket.

There is no settings option on my phone when I do this.
Anyone help?

I went down to Turnstile P and NFC worked. I was using contactless pay at supermarkets, buses etc last season and I couldn't get it to work at the turnstile. It sems the new turnstiles are better. Based on my trial.

My phone has NFC and it would work at the bus/shops but not at the turnstile, however I went to turnstile P this afternoon and the NFC worked. The turnstile has a bar code reader as well.

since these crappy digital sc were introduced, the barcode and nfc wouldn't work for me either way.

best it ever did was me turning my mobile upside down going in,30% at best.

i went to the help desk 2 or 3 times last year before the season started and handed my mobile over
to the " genius tech guy" on reception ( supporters services words not mine ) ,he gave up and authorised
a plastic saesoncard for me, had to queue up for one hour before the opening game v Ipswich too to get my season card.
