It's a hell of a lot safer and more secure having the ST holder nominate someone for their own seat than the club toshing out returned tickets to all and sundry via 3rd party resellers, resulting in away fans and randomers in home sections, how low an opinion of fan intelligence do they hold for us..?I was told by someone on the phone at the club that you can’t do this as it’s against security and safety etc. they will have a dedicated team this season making sure that the person using the season ticket is the person named.

Can you request this on the phone/via email?I think I will go down Monday and get a card. I am not doing that again. City bodged the inplementation of this tech. It works everywhere from buses to supermarkets, but they couldn't make it work. And not including a barcode on the ticket was an error.

Until facial recognition comes in they can’t have any way of stopping this. I’m going to have my season ticket on my brothers phone so for the games I can’t make, he will buzz in my other brother. you’re both season ticket holders, none. If you’re a member, same as usual. If neither, but you’ve got a supporters number, he can ring and ask if he can nominate you.Missed the nomination window, my mate who sits next to me can’t attend the Burnley home game, what’s my options to receive his ticket off him?
