Seasoncard - 2021/22 | Ticket Exchange

City are relisting tickets after notifying that they have been sold and showing "as requested your ticket has been sold" as well as taking them off the planner.

Now no one can have confidence in this system if they are cancelling the sales at anytime for whatever reason.

I'm a bit confused at this. So they inform you it's been sold but haven't actually sold it, take it off the planner so nobody can buy it, then say a mistake has been made and it didn't actually sell?

It is people cancelling when city discount their own tickets, and City relist as though they were never sold and the liability is put back on the ST holder.

There is nothing in T&Cs which allows this and they could do this at any time. There is no explanation from the club, they act as though you have just listed them. Nothing to stop this happening on the day on the day before or the day of the game, just can't have confidence in the system now unless this is addressed.

I'm still confused. So somebody can buy a listed ticket, then days later see a more favourable one for sale, cancel the one they've bought and buy that? Surely once it's sold it's sold?

That is the only explanation- someone kicking off as city have discounted other tickets by 40/50% as it is within the 7 day no return window.

I don't blame the buyer as they will feel ripped off, but if City allow them to return they should sell them as their own and not pretend we has just listed them and nothing has happened.

You can't run a business that way. It's like me buying something in a shop, going in the same shop days later, seeing it is now on offer and wanting it at the reduced price

At lunchtime on Saturday l tried to cancel my son's ticket being up for sale on ticket exchange. It should be easy - press a single button. No surprise it wasn't working and an error message kept appearing.
I went onto the ticket phone line and was 29 in the queue. It took 70 minutes to be told l was No 1 although l spent 5 or 10 mins before a real person spoke.
So for my simple problem it took nearly an hour and and a half and probably two hours together with the time on the internet. If the site had been working properly it should have taken two minutes.
Ticket office is still the weak link of the club.

The misleading part is that city specifically say it was sent on the 2nd November when clearly its not been sent on that date. Why they feel the need to lie I have no idea as by their terms, as you point out they have 4 more weeks to pay.
30th banks closed and nothing.

Did anyone list their ticket for the Burnley game, and if so have you had your money yet?

I think its about 7 weeks ago now

I did and it sold, not sure if I've actually had the money yet I'll have to wait for my bank statement.

I kept a note on the PC knowing exactly when their "45 days" would run out for the 2 i sold.

Burnley 16th Oct (((45 days later = 30 Nov))) -- not had it yet
Palace 30th Oct (((45 days later = 14 Dec)))

(edited due to me being blind as a bat with dates!)

Burnley is due by tomorrow.

Burnley 18th Oct (((45 days later = 2nd Dec)))
Palace 30th Oct (((45 days later = 14 Dec)))
You might want to make better notes. We played Burnley on the 16th, so 45 days was yesterday.
:-)

I'm in exactly the same boat. I didn't attend the same games & sold on ticket exchange & I haven't received anything either

Looks like a number haven't received their Burnley funds. Has anyone contacted supporter services yet?
I did when the club said they had paid on 2/11 to highlight an issue after nothing was paid 2 weeks later. They just said it hasn't been 45 days rather than look into a possible issue.

Clearly something went wrong but you just get T&Cs rather than a remedy.

I will leave it until Sunday (they are quieter then according to one of their agents) and then phone if I haven't received by then.

I've emailed the guy at City Matters asking if he has an email address of someone other than the normal 'contact us'.
