Seasoncard - 2021/22 | Ticket Exchange

I cant remember if they send another email saying the payment has been sent, probably, but I don't see it as a lie if they do. It is more it's been sent but it still takes the me to process. This is how it works, if your ticket sells its a great service and as due to holidays etcetera I miss some games I'm grateful it exists
It says "Per your request, your ticket has been resold. ‪£‬24.47 refund was delivered to you on 02/11/2021."

That's a lie. They don't need to lie just say your payment will be with you by X date.

You're making a mountain out of a molehill. Be grateful it sold and some day in the next 20 years it will arrive in your account. Some fans just love to moan.

I'm not making anything out of anything, i couldn't care less when they pay it, in fact i'd rather they kept it for next season.

But that doesn't change the fact that City are misleading customers about sending payments when they clearly haven't and don't need to either. You said they are not misleading, I was pointing out that they are.

They're not. They clearly state when your ticket is sold it will be paid into your account 45 days after the game had finished.

"The funds for this match will be paid direct in to your UK nominated bank account, 45-days after the match has been played."

As I said you're making a mountain out of a molehill. Go and see a solicitor and take them to court if you think you have a case, or better still e mail somebody at the club and see if they can make it more clear so nobody thinks they are being misled.

I have no issue with City, I was pointing that you were wrong in saying its not misleading, i'm not sure why you are struggling to grasp that?

If you don't think City saying "Per your request, your ticket has been resold. ‪£‬24.47 REFUND WAS DELIVERED TO YOU on 02/11/2021." The money hasn't been delivered to me. If you don't think that is misleading then its probably best to end it there.

It appears rather than admit you got it wrong you are making a mountain out of a molehill.

I've got nothing wrong and neither have City. The fact they say it's been delivered to you doesn't mean you get it straight away as you well know as preceding this they clearly state it will be paid into your account FORTY FIVE DAYS after the match has been played. Go and play the smallest violin ever elsewhere

It doesnt say anything preceding it at all? I'm not sure why you keep making things up? in any case, whether it did or didn't say something before it, saying i have received something which i clearly have not is misleading - to say it isn't is disingenuous.

I think we've derailed this thread enough so i'll leave it there.

Making things up?? I copied and pasted the section that clearly states it will be paid 45 days when the game has finished. This was sent to me when I also sold my Burnley ticket. As those 45 days expires on the 3Oth November you have a while to go yet

I agree though we differ too much to agree so there is no point in going around in circles.

Used ticket exchange for 1st time for Everton game and our tickets seem to have sold (says resold on account and don't appear if you go on seat planner) but we've not had any confirmation emails to confirm sold which in the faqs it says you should. Is the email just delayed til nearer the game? Just don't want City to somehow neglect to pay us!

Last time mine sold I only knew as I checked my account. Took about 48 hours to receive the actual email confirming it

Sold one I noticed had been sold on Wednesday and nothing yet, 2 seasons ago they didn't come through until after the sales window.

I know some people defend this and everything city to the hilt but there is a lot of room for improvement still.

Mine seem to have sold for Sunday, but I only thought to check because my season card had changed to show the West Ham game.
Ah Yes, mine has changed now to PSG (was still showing Everton yesterday but does always seem to be slow to update on my phone)

As long as they pay us eventually I'm not too bothered I guess but an email would be nice so you know what to expect (rather than having to chase it after 45 days if sale hasn't registered for some reason). Sounds like nothing to worry about though, so thanks. Quite surprised how quick they sold at the prices they charge for match day tickets!

I've defended the system on this thread but for the first time since I've used it a big mistake appears to have occurred.

I put the Everton ticket up for sale late Monday night and at 9:35 Tuesday morning I received an email saying it had sold. This was a bit unusual as you usually get an email saying it has been listed before this. Last night at 16:20 I received this email,

"Thank you for using the Manchester City Ticket Exchange.

Details of the match and seat placed for trade are as follows:

Manchester City v Everton

Sunday 21st November, 2.00pm"

This was sent three days after I was told it had been sold! Baffled I checked my account and lo and behold it was still up for sale. In my Google wallet it is still showing as there too, so it looks like it hasn't been sold. Our wonderful ticket office has played a blinder yet again! It looks like the clown who dealt with it sent the sold email instead of the up for sale one so it probably had not been listed. Three days later someone must have spotted the mistake and listed it for sale. With our injury news and due to it being listed so late in the day I doubt it will now sell. Is there still a three hour wait to contact these buffoons on the phone? I'd like to ask what is going on!

It's a glitch that only affects games against Everton.

I put four games on the exchange a few years ago after having a hip replacement. Two actually sold, one didn't but for Everton it seemingly sold more or less straightaway and I got a mail saying that. On match day I got a further mail around lunchtime saying it hadn't sold, thus giving me no time to see if I could let someone have it for free.

I put a complaint in and I was credited the money eventually.

It's baffling, Moyes old dogs of war still causing havoc eh?

City are relisting tickets after notifying that they have been sold and showing "as requested your ticket has been sold" as well as taking them off the planner.

Now no one can have confidence in this system if they are cancelling the sales at anytime for whatever reason.

It seems clear what has happened, City have reduced their tickets to £30 and therefore are allowing buyers to cancel who paid full price and buy their unsold ones and pretending they were never sold.
