Really??? I know it worked for the Everton game but someone on here posted a screenshot on their phone of their seasoncard and it showed no barcode so I thought it was different. Why couldn't the club just have told people this and saved us days of bloody stress, not to mention expense??
 
Without reading through 500 + pages, my cousin can not attend the game Saturday, how would he transfer his season card to me to use for my daughter ? Any advice would be appreciated

I'm billing the fuckers for the phone I've had to buy that apparently I didn't need as a bar code works, but nobody at the club let me or any other fans know! Cheers for that

That's exactly how my Everton ticket looked when I downloaded it as I don't have NFC and it worked on the day by putting it into the scanner slot. Fucking City, wankers!!

There was supposed to be details released today regarding family and friends tickets but nothing has come out.
Will give them a couple more days as I'm in the same boat
If the details don't come through all I can suggest is to log into your cousin account on your phone and download it to your phone

I'm writing to them anyway. This whole thing has been shambolic from the start and caused lots of people endless stress. The help has been almost non existent for people struggling. They've also lied by telling people they had to have an NFC enabled phone, when we didn't. I want to know if they don't want the older fans to support them anymore and if that's the case I'll consider my position.

Sorted, logged into my cousins account and put his ticket into my wallet

Scroll to the bottom of that menu & you'll find "hold near terminal to use"
If you swipe that it changes the ticket & adds a QR/barcode that looks like you can scan it at the gate like a PAH ticket.
Whether this works though is another thing.

I will be doing the same. I pretty sure when your cousin logs back into his account on his own phone he can download it to his wallet making the one in your wallet out of use
That's what I'm hoping anyway

I received one a couple of weeks ago. Quite a few questions along those lines and the answers I gave were less than complimentary to say the least. Never thought I'd feel as pissed off with the club as I have been in the past few weeks.

I think it will have to work as the club is issuing paper tickets, with barcodes on I presume.

It looks like it does work but can't see the club saying that will be the way to do it
Even they are your family and friends the club in theory are telling you to log into someone else's account and have access to all there personal details. Probably against the data protection laws

Just be mindful what may or may not work on the day mate.
A poster last week was adamant he had gone up to the turnstile and swiped in with a IPhone 5s (Impossible as doesn’t have the NFC )
Eventually it transpired the phone was actually a iPhone SE which is NFC enabled.
