I don’t know about everyone else but I’m getting bored of all the back and forth about this, season card, phone, print at home business and just wish the club would come out with a definitive answer!

Not only that but the start of the season isn't all that far off. It would be nice to have it clear in your mind how we will actually be able to get into the ground.

There was a tweet last night by supporter services saying the digital season cards and instructions would be sent via email within the next 2 weeks. I bet that is all the communication we get

Away from the phyaical ticket conversation, has city amade the digital cards available yet to download?

Liverpool, everton and brighton already have allowed access to do this, why wait till the last minute rather than give those not tech savy any time to get their head round it so they don't end up getting flustered

What about the people who are not on Twitter? I am but I know a lot of supporters are not.

Does the club not realise that not everyone is on Social Media?

Sorry what I meant was, as in the communication were all waiting for will come in the email with digital ticket link ie no advanced communication

We are talking about season cards on this thread, which are a cost of @ £500/600 per year on average.
So if you can afford £50/60 per month for a season card ,you can also afford £10/11 per month for a smartphone.

If you pay monthly for phone taking out a loan you generally can't afford it, and having to pay £132 extra for something you don't want as the club's systems are inadequate is a disgrace.

It doesn't matter if fans can afford it or not, it is a completely needless additional cost with zero benefit and makes it harder to get in the ground increasing the chance of issues at the gate.

Yes my sister is a rag and goes to the swamp she has her digital season ticket . Sent her email then a link to download the season card

Not a big deal for me, I have an NFC enabled smart phone. Given a choice I'd go for the card.

But I know some older blues who don't have one or a printer at home and it seems a bit unfair on them.

The Everton approach (£5 fee for an entry card) seems like the sensible option and the high uptake indicates that many people are not ready to move to the new system just yet.

Of course we're all guessing as the club haven't as yet confirmed that there will be no card option.

Agreed, a £5 card option does seem sensible for those who aren’t totally comfortable with tech.

No worries
