Seasoncard - 2021/22

That seemed a bit too simple. I’ve now got a blue card in my apple wallet that says City v Norwich and then at the bottom it says “hold near reader”

Is that all there is too it? It took 30 seconds to do. Have I missed anything?

That's it, just remember to unlock your phone and have NFC enabled as you reach the turnstile.

The rest is up to City.

That’s literally it. Unbelievable the meltdown it has caused. Saying that it is always the vocal minority that are the loudest, the vast majority will just get on with it.

Sorry to be really thick but what does NFC enabled mean?
In your smartphone, where it lists connections such as bluetooth, wifi, etc there should also be NFC listed and either a button to enable it or sometimes it's just a symbol that is highlighted when NFC is on. You need it to be on when you hold the phone against the reader. A wifi signal is not needed to read the ticket.

Soooooo I’ve downloaded mine but I’m struggling with another one, as it’s not in my name but thr mrs. She doesn’t have an account on city but I can see her seaso card, just can’t download it?

Re the stadium being cash free, Liverpool have introduced that this season. Every transaction will be by debit or pre loaded card.
Once they find you don't spend anything at the club shop or food/drink outlets you may get a thank you for your support but letter
Selhurst Park and Spurs new stadium were already cash free pre-covid.
