Surely if all you want is a printer for basic needs you shouldn't be paying more than 50 quid. Canon PIXMA from Aldi online for £24.99 with cartridges“Due to high demand”
Haha!
I've had Canon, HP and Epson cheap inkjet printers and they are all shite. You waste all the ink getting the thing set up! And if you don't use it for a week or two it needs re-setting up again. Then if you try using snide cartridges they sometimes refuse to play ball. I'd definitely go laser if you can.Surely if all you want is a printer for basic needs you shouldn't be paying more than 50 quid. Canon PIXMA from Aldi online for £24.99 with cartridges
i had to sort my dad’s out - he has a knackered iphone SE and no idea what a digital wallet is. he’s in his 70s. regularly forgets to take his phone out with him and wouldn't notice anyway.I think almost everyone going to games will have a mobile phone, the problem is quite a few older fans will have a bog standard basic one they rarely use. It's there for emergencies and so the family can keep in touch. They're fucked with this new system unless they buy a new one and get someone to sort it out for them
And like I said you would not be forced to create a bank account. You can purchase prepaid cards. Please see my post re taxation a cashless society makes it so much easier for a government to track you.
Re rewarding high spenders!!!! Seriously, what about the fans who have done and still do the hard miles. Southampton away mid week, Newcastle away the evening after boxing day. Ignore them because they don't spend money on replica shirts and a pie chips and bovril.

Also the ‘just print at home’ brigade - who the hell has a working printer and why should they spend the time and effort doing so. The season ticket is hundreds pounds, the least the club can do is give you the same strip of plastic they always have to get into the ground and access the event you’ve paid for already.
Just shows how arrogant football is to treat customers like they do.
This year there should have been a free option to get a seasoncard as normal that you could apply for - with those who are more tech savvy not bothering.
That is what Liverpool have done .i had to sort my dad’s out - he has a knackered iphone SE and no idea what a digital wallet is. he’s in his 70s. regularly forgets to take his phone out with him and wouldn't notice anyway.

It is better you move on, an uninformed employee made a mistake, there are no cards available and the club never said there was. Some people have genuine problems, which doesn’t include demanding the club gives you a card which doesn’t exist or else you cancel your season ticket lol. That is what Liverpool have done .
Given ‘fans’ the option.
I’m still undecided about whether to download it or not or cancel.
I don’t want to cut my nose off to spite my face but if there is no card as promised when I phoned up I won’t accept lies from a company I have given thousands to since the 70’s!
