Yes I was the same at the Everton match. I have no idea whether the same will apply with the season ticket.

For print at home they said 7 days beforehand. Mobile ticket may be the same.Anybody know how many days before the match, these mobile tickets arrive?

The day trippers aren't genrally interested in games against the likes of Norwich. I expect there will be a good number of them knocking about in CB1 as usual, but covid will have put a few off this season.
We'll still see the real hard core tourists, but later in the season, around the CL games and when international travelling gets a bit easier.
I recall a discussion with a lad from the Far East who sat next to me a few years ago. He was in the UK for three weeks, had hotels booked and tickets to see at least 8 top PL games and was hoping for more. He had two bags full of stuff from the City store as well as a shirt, scarf etc. He said he would do the same at each game.
That's the type of supporters the club wants to attract. They spend more at one game than most of us do in a season or two. CL games attract literally hundreds of such 'supporters'... Which is precisely why the elite clubs prioritise the CL and (still) want a Super League.

It is slight better than their default "due course" meaning "we haven't a clue when", but not by much seen as the game is also that week.Notice how it says 'week commencing'. Not very reassuring amidst the current chaos.

That's what happened with my mobile banking app a couple of years ago, they upgraded it and it would only run on later versions of android that weren't compatible with my phone, so I had to get a new one.They will yes but by then the problems should hopefully have been ironed out and anyone struggling got their head around it
I don't like it though. Everytime these firms come up with a new magic means of accessing places and events it just means you have to incur more costs upgrading the device you use to do this.

Exactly this. It's a nonsense sold to people as it's making their lives easier, when in the long run it isn't. Upgrade after expensive upgrade and then utterly useless if systems go down or are hacked.
Does anybody know how many games you have to miss for the ticket to be taken off you? I've seen it mentioned a few times online.
They won't tell you but the computer will know, it will just say FUCK OFF! after the required games missed and your phone then explodes.
It didn't matter last season so long as you put it on the ticket exchange. Oh for the days of deciding on the day of the game, jumping on the bus and paying at the turnstiles!
