Not so. I paid for the ticket on the cup scheme and was unable to go due to Malaga. He just used the card.

For the record I couldn't care less how anyone earns their points but Its disingenuous to suggest that Every point on your old Seasoncard was earned by you and you alone when, minutes earlier you had proven you had points in your total for games attended by others.

No solution will fit everyone but just being given 20,000 points you didn’t earn is surely unfair.

I might be being a bit thick here, but the email doesn't clarify what you can do if you can't attend a game. Does that seat just go empty or can you give your ticket to a friend/family for that game (and inform the club of who is having it)?
I asked Supporter Services but they were less than useful.

What earns the points? Purchase of the ticket or attendance of the match? As far as I’m concerned, I paid to go but luck of the draw meant I couldn’t as I celebrated a birthday in Spain.
I’ll be happy to let City take ten points back on the understanding I’m refunded for a match I didn’t attend.
Those getting very defensive clearly have something to hide.

I havent read every word of this thread but am I right in saying folks are getting emails from the club about their season cards. Is that every season card holder or a sub category. Its just I haven't had a dicky bird about our two for yonks.
