Seasoncard Renewals | Slight Price Increase

I have a stable job and own my own home. I also have three children to support with an ever increasing squeeze on my wages. A lot of non essentials have been got rid of due to cost of living, unfortunately the next thing on my list will be season ticket. I’ll likely keep this season but if it gets any tighter it will have to go. It’s a shame because I’ve had it for over 20 years. I’ll join the ever increasing list of former match going fans who watch the games on the telly. If that makes me an entitled **** then so be it.

In this eventuality my seat will be one more empty for the seat counters for 90% of the games, but at least some tourist can use it for Real Madrid or United and spend £100 in the club shop. That’s what we want isn’t it???
It won't be empty if you do let it go though bud, there will be plenty of takers.

I’m not a season ticket holder can I buy a silver season ticket on 6th of may or do I have to wait until the 20th? Can’t make it out from the website

Certainly a shame prices haven't been frozen when there has been a large number of reports about the rise in the general cost of living. Especially as by the time the new season starts we will apparently be heading towards yet another energy price rise. I am currently lucky enough to swallow a small rise as in fairly secure employment with only one child away at university. I haven't always been so fortunate though and have had to give up my ticket previously. It will be the fa / league cup schemes that will have to go for me if I get stuck. At the end of the day people have to think of their families and their home before City.

My pitch side ticket as gone up from £515 to £550 plus still £50 for platinum why do we still after pay this for double points it’s a joke we should be getting rid of platinum all together

Strange isn’t it?

11 season ticket price increase$.

Roughly between £800K and £1mill every season, give or take.

High side. £11mill over 11 season or over a decade.

What overhead/s is this £1mill paying for every season?

To put that £1mill into perspective…….

The Club saw an increase in total revenues, increasing by 19% to £569.8 million, with a profit of 2.4 million. (in 1 season)

So even with a price freeze last season, City would have made a £1.4mill profit. No doubt the revenues will be more at the end of the next financial year.

Mines gone up to £475 from something around £450. Leaves me at £25 a ticket up at 307 however after next year when i move up to the Adult bracket, I jump up to £780!

Did the city matters group discuss the scrapping of platinum? It's always been a con but since we no longer get points for away games it's even more of one now. we're paying £50 just to get double points on the season card points and home cup games and schemes. this means if we are in all Cup schemes we get an extra 490 points and can expect around 5-600 points a season when all the games are factored in at a cost of £50. We get no other benefits from being platinum, it's nothing more than a forced premium on those of us who go to away games.

I'm sure I heard somewhere this was being challenged, would be interesting to know citys response if indeed it was brought up by city matters as I see no justification for it.
