I do wonder why the club bother with these increases though. In the scheme of things it's a drop in the ocean to them. Given the hardships everyone is currently going through, it would have been a good gesture to freeze the prices across the board.

I think other then maybe once, there have been prices increases every year. It’s gone up sometimes 30quid a year for about ten years, which is actually quite a big increase

They really should have freezed them again, £20 spread across 40000 of us is £800k. Do they really need that money?

Don't get me wrong. Fantastic value for the football we get to watch.

In the grand scheme of things though putting up ST prices by a few quid will hardly make a difference to City's revenues whereas a price freeze would acknowledge the hardships that many fans are no doubt facing in the current climate.

Agree with the points you have made and I do feel that the prices should have been frozen, but compared with some other Premier League clubs, ours are some of the cheapest.

Its is yeah. We weren't consulted on seasoncard renewal prices unfortunately. Once we were told about the increases many of us told them we didn't think it was appropriate given the cost of living increases. For what its worth I think its completely pointless given how much they'll earn from it.

You've answered your question, mate. Everything's going up.

An increase of 2%, 5%, 10% on ticket prices is worth next to fuck all to City (who still posted a profit after a season with empty stadiums) but it's the price of a weekly shop to some at the moment, or the difference between whether the TV or heating gets turned on. There's been an ongoing and worsening cost of living crisis for over a decade now. Almost every club in the Premier League has an unofficial food bank group.

We're one of the richest clubs in the world. The stadium shares a postcode with one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the country. It's a pointless piss take.

Mine at the back of the ssl 3 has gone up £25 it would of been good of the club to put it out there saying they are freezing the prices for everyone though good PR and all that aye
