Seat Counters - 2022/23

It will be interesting to see how the FA Cup Semi sells considering the clear upturn in demand this season. Last season it was a slow burner vs scousers and this time it’s against a team in a lower division, but given people may have missed out on games they’d normally make then it might sell quite well.
Plenty of reasons why this one could sell better than last year:

No railway works making it easier to get down there.

As you say a clear upturn in demand this season.

The fact that we'll be able to put tickets on general sale if we have to, whereas last year we couldn't for security reasons.

A lot didn't want to go last year cause of the guaranteed trouble there would be with 30,000 scousers there

I've got my eye on a sell out, but rekon we'll sell around 30,000

I'd estimate 20-25,000 for this one.

We sold out a quarter final against Burnley so no reason by this won’t sell out!
Hoping there will be tickets left Tuesday for Cityzen members. It doesn’t say about how many per member though…

Was there any trouble of note at last year’s semi?

I’d say the potential for mither is greater with a team like Sheffield United, who’ll probably have about 20,000 pissed up dicks who’ve never been to a game before in their lives.

I completely agree with you on this, however plenty won't see it that way. Most football fans are Hardwired to expect trouble from Liverpool fans, that's the unfortunate truth.

So yes there wasn't much trouble last year, but the prospect of it certainly will have put lots off of going

Sheffield Utd seat counters are off to a flyer.
