I was walking past as the driver was being cut out. It seemed the car was wedged under the tram somehow - hope everyone escaped without major injuries.

They do. You’re just showing confirmation bias.

Cheap tickets, a cup scheme, a dead rubber game and bad weather would always result in no shows. I was on holiday and gave my ticket to a mate at the last minute but my dad and his mate didn’t bother coming because they are 80 years old.

To support a club like city you need to be a season ticket holder and on cup schemes to avoid missing out or sitting in shit seats all over the stadium. Quite naturally some will miss a few. I do.
 
Just do what united do and don't announce the attendance for a couple of days.

Then pretend that you got exactly 74,310 (higher than any league match this season) for both Sociedad and Nicosia

Nobody will notice.
