in all seriousness mate, I think you’ll be fine. We could get ours today but have to wait until 10 tomorrow so the other 2 in our group who have really low points can get there’s as well. Assume there will be plenty like us who are having to wait until all on scheme section though. It’s a ballache.

I think there will, but how many is anyone's guess. Like you, I qualified yesterday but am waiting for someone else to qualify tomorrow at 10am. If we do fag packet calculations allowing for the worst case scenario of no more tickets being released by City, it means that 24,000 tickets are already spoken for. Even with allocations for the OSC, players, staff, hospitality and cup scheme members with at least 9,500 points, it does seem unrealistic that there genuinely are only just over 6,000 left out of the 30,000 initial allocation.

I think the difference between you and Dave is that you qualify at 10am and he is at 1pm. A lot is currently up in the air. If no more become available then there's every chance this doesn't make it to the weekend.

If one of my mates hadn't forgotten to do his cup scheme this year I'd be all sorted. He's not even going: I'm using his season ticket for one of my lads.

What I’m clinging to is that there are loads of tickets front of upper tier that haven’t been touched yet and I can’t see how that many are going to disappear in a couple of sales windows.

The latter is better by a mile in my opinion for every reason. That's my area of choice every time. that lower tier reminds me of the Etihad. It's so shallow a camber that even at the back you can't follow the game very well.

Pretty similar to us mate. Waiting until 1pm today though. We may get more expensive or shitter tickets.

I wouldn't like to second guess this but I think you'll be ok at 1pm tomorrow. However, the choice of seats might not be too great. We should get another 2000 or so added to the initial allocation and there may well be more tickets on top of that to drip feed back on to the planner so probably looking at 9000-10,000 still to sell all told but it's all guesswork at the moment and I do think more tickets have been siphoned off this year compared to last year before going on sale to points holders. Either that or more are being held back off the planner compared to last year.

There are smaller gaps and points drops for ST holders not on the cup scheme this year.

I've just looked at last year's thread and after the 3rd window sales had died down (10,000 points Cup Scheme) but just before the 4th window opened (6500 points Cup Scheme) there were around 10,000 showing on the planner.

Comparing it to the equivalent windows this year. After the 3rd window sales had died down (12,500 points Cup Scheme) but just before the 4th window opened at 10am this morning (9500 points cup scheme), there were 7902 showing on the planner.

So that's around 2000 less tickets showing this year compared to last year at the equivalent stage. Not only that, the criteria for the 3rd and 4th sales windows this year is much higher - 12,500 vs 10,000 Cup Scheme (3rd sales window) and 9500 vs 6500 Cup Scheme (4th sales window).

Either more have been siphoned off this time round or more are being held back.

My choice was definitely not as good as last year. Either loads have joined the cup scheme or they have siphoned more off which wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.

shite this is, 6 of us 5 elogaiblw frrom the start and one over 65 who wasn't till 1pm, should be able tp pull thrpugh pensoners who may need to go with the help of their sons/daughter to get same as kids.
