Seat Counters - 2024/25

The amount of tickets unsold for tonight's game shows that the club are getting things wrong. It's a 19:30 kick off which means people using public transport to get home should find it slightly easier. Forest are playing some decent football and we need the support given our recent poor form. On paper it's a game we should win and there could be goals in it. In spite of recent form we are in the most successful period in the clubs history....yet we are still not selling out games. Yes I know a fair few will be returns from people who can't attend for whatever reasons, but we're told we have a waiting list of thousands wanting tickets.....yet they remain unsold. Why?

Apart from season ticket holders who can no longer go putting their tickets back on the exchange, the thousands of other unsold tickets are down to the club farming them out to third party ticket agencies who in turn haven't been able to sell most of them, so have now returned them to the club. Trouble is, it's been done at short notice and a lot of fans aren't going to alter their plans to then fork out £50-odd a ticket for a midweek home game in December when we're on a very poor run of form. What should've happened is City should never have sent so many tickets for this game to the third party agencies and instead should've put them on sale to members back in the summer when all the other games went on sale. Loads would've been snapped up then.

The tickets left on the planner are hardly selling at all from what I've seen. The odd ones here and there are going, and somewhat surprisingly I've just had an e-mail off the club saying my seat has sold which I wasn't expecting.

We have more than enough fans to fill the stadium tonight IMO. After all, we regularly sell out early round FA Cup games against lower division opposition. But that's because they often get the pricing right on those, which enables many local families - who can't afford the match day prices for league games - to attend with their kids.

How many left for tonight
Think a plane from Spain lands about 5 o'clock
Most will have gone by 5pm as they are resales, likely a few hundred left at least in CB3 and ES3 by that time.

Some people prefer to moan on the match day thread and about empty seats rather than going to the game. I am not blaming them, if I hadn't got a ticket tonight I'm not sure I would fork out £92 for a pair today.

The point I was making is we're not the hottest ticket in town the club seems to think we are. If we were any tickets put up for sale would be snapped up by all those thousands desperate to watch us live.

If they were a decent price and could easy get 3 or 4 people together they would sell out a couple of weeks in advance

Exactly. Also as they have the technology they could send out an email to the thousands of members who hadn't bought a ticket for tonight's game to inform them more were now available and on sale.
