Seat Counters - 2024/25

Hasn't this been done to death though?

Don't FG holders get tickets at a lower price? Genuinely don't know thd Adults match day prices.

I know for a fact the Junior ones do though.

And one would expect to pay a reservation fee for something, anything.

The suggestion a FG ticket should not incur a 1 off fee is ludicrous tbh.

Full S/T's should still be an option though.
If this was an additional layer of membership alongside people being offered new season tickets I’d be more inclined to agree with you. However, these FG’s as far as we know are replacing standard season tickets, no new standard season tickets are to be offered, ever. So people buying one are forced into paying £150 more than the rest of us. I have never been forced into paying £150 more than other people, I doubt you have, and I wouldn’t expect other people to have to pay it either.

Yes, but you (and me) are paying £700 / 800+ with no guarantee we can or will go to every game.

There is a place for FG, certainly the junior one because under 18's have so much more going on and mid week games can be awkward with school etc.
I have found it to be excellent this season even though I missed a couple of purchase dates.

Full S/T's should be available though but that is an issue for many Clubs not just us.

Greedy Clubs cashing in on the day tripper or occasional fan.

Then again, thank the stupid PSR rules and fucking woeful governance from the PL on these things.

Son can’t go today. Wife was willing to upgrade his ticket from U21 to adult and go in his place. Son membership ran out mid season (unbeknown to him) and wife not a member. Other son spoke to city and they said categorically there is nothing they can do and that the seat would have to remain empty. Great strategy city. Fucking hate this club atm (not the players/managers)
I had no idea Son was a City fan.

He's probably in training today with Spuds playing tomorrow.

Yes it’s the levers /dis- incentives that are the problem. That doesn’t change the fact that are bigger barrier to getting families sat together inc. season card hoarders.

City can ditch flexi-golds by all means as long as we ditch the pretence that we have genuine season cards when they can be listed or transferred for 19 out of 19 games. Take the best elements of both and you would have a decent product (including slashing the F-G set up fees).
@Tim of the Oak

Is the 19 out of 19 can be transferred correct? I'm sure I saw 14 game minimum attendance somewhere, but I could be wrong.

Obviously, with my situation at the moment, the good lady's ticket is being transferred for the last 6 home games, which takes her below the threshold of 14 if what I'm hearing is right.

season ticket for a u21 who's now turned 22? Shouldn't be an issue if its happened mid season

The threshold is for no-shows. If you transfer your ticket or put it on the exchange then your attendance is counted and it goes towards your 14 game minimum.

Your missus will be fine as long as she makes sure to transfer the tickets for the remaining games and doesn't leave them as no-shows

ticket prices are ridiculous at the moment. I can't see any reason for 90 minutes of football to cost more than £30/40. tomorrow will be a sorry sight, empties dotted all around the ground. hopefully it's a kick up the arse for those who make all the decisions that something has to change.
Today was a sorry sight but not down to empty seats. It was on the pitch that was a sorry sight.

The 19 out of 19 is a combination of ticket listings on the exchange and transfers for friends and family, mate. I think you can transfer 19 tickets / for every game.

You can definitely transfer for every single game without threat of sanction.

For reasons I won’t bother boring people with, I’ve got a ticket that I’ve transferred to the same person for every game for about three years now.

The only time I’ve heard anything from the club was one time it wouldn’t scan and they just let the kid in anyway.

The club instruct you to transfer to someone else to let you in if you don't have the correct phone, then count these as season ticket holder not using their own season tickets.

I use plastic, much easier, and you get the 10% discount still.

We put our 2 seats on exchange for the Liverpool game. The regulars who sit around us told us 2 Asian lads from London were sat in our seats. Neutral apparently not City fans anyway, and had paid £160 each for them. Not on a corporate deal or anything special just the ticket. Wtf is going on City?

If anyone started quizzing me about how much I’d paid for my ticket, I think I’d probably be inclined to politely tell them to mind their own fucking business.

Probably a touting agency not approved by City, as our leaders would have thrown in a burger and chips.

The people around me are quite friendly and chaty. I've struck up conversations with strangers sat next to me.. it wasn't as you suggested. The guy next to them had a Liverpool screen saver. He was told to leave as soon as Salah scored. My point is seats are being sold by City themselves or 3rd party to anyone.

@Gone for a Burton In regards to your masterplan I've done a quick count of the seats to see how big the away end would need to be to get us to 3,000 away fans.

If the away end was to start where the current segregation is in 114 and follow the bottom tier round the corner flag, It would need to extend to Block 107 and cut that block approx 2/3rds away end, 1/3rd home end. Hope this helps.

Good luck, I explained this to him a month ago and his solution was to give them less tickets!!

Cheers.

That sounds/looks much more than I'd of thought.

Aways currently have three blocks...
are saying they'd need four blocks 113 /109 INCLUSIVE ??

Can you do the same exercise on the 'wedge', 111,211 212.

If all else fails reduce the bloody allocation.

The rags, dippers, georgies all have been granted exceptions for stadium matters.
