Seat Counters - 2024/25

The average gate for 6 games we have played in the league( not including tonight which is the 7th) is 52,476...what I think transfermarket have done is put 7 games down but still haven't received tonight's attendance...

After all the doom-mongering tonight's crowd was higher than I expected.

City's average attendance has never been so high, but that's based around cheap season tickets (especially in the Family Stand) and quite often those supporters choose not to attend the less attractive fixtures, particularly the midweek games in December/January

Ideally these returns would be sold ridiculously cheap but that wouldn't be fair on those people who've already paid a higher fee for an individual ticket
For games like last night and other predictable low attendance games City should think outside the box
Don't give as many to the ticket tout sites sell em to start with £20 and ,£5 for kids let each season ticket holder have an extra one for £10 as a show of loyalty
Of course some would complain but not as much as the complaints about empty seats
City have neglected our core fan base for years ,The half and half scarf brigade ,the tick tok mob .The Barcelona boys certainly didn't fancy last night .

There’s absolutely no chance we’ve had an average of 7,000 empty seats this season. Tonight I could maybe believe it and maybe even more at Feyenoord.

Looking forward though it’s hard not to fear the worst about midweek matches at this time if the year when we have 8,000 more seats to sell and the club have decided NOT to sell season tickets!

Unless they’re prepared to do something radical with individual ticket prices then these matches will become a bit of an embarrassment.

There will be an additional 3k season tickets next season

Due to friends and family being ill and other circumstances, l had 8 tickets available to me last night, I couldn’t get rid of one on this forum for £10 even hospitality at £20 including a pint and program wouldn’t sell.
In the end I managed to give one hospitality away for free outside the ground to a very grateful Barcelona fan boy! Who’s friends had already paid £100 each for their tickets

It's damning that every single home league game isn't sold out, regardless of the underlying reason. We are the best and most successful club in Europe this past decade, we also have some of the largest social media followings in world football. Something is drastically wrong seeing the number of vacant seats last night. Whether it's the club's fault, the fan's fault, or a mixture of both, it's not a good look and feeds right into the 'emptyhad' agenda.
