Seat Counters 25/26

Pep have a fucking with your mate, Soriano, we ain’t a club with millions of members from all over the world like your beloved barcelona, we are a predominantly working class club supported by fans with other financial commitments (many of whom he has already driven away) - if you lower the prices they will come
I think you might be missing a vital word from the first 8 there! I know they are close but still ;-)

Me too. I'd prefer to pay what I pay and see a full stadium rather than empty seats, even if some around me got tickets later on a cheaper

At the moment we have a problem relating to midweek Cup games. We have always had this problem but it has got worse this season. We know from the Ticket Office that seasoncard holders are not going to midweek Cup games. Most likely that's a combination of price and malaise. You can get local matchday fans into the ground on a CL night but not for a League Cup tie, and you can't reduce ticket prices that much for league games because of season ticket holders. Look what happened vs Fulham. All the £30 returns have been snapped up.

My seasoncard works out at £48 per game. If they reduced ticket prices to £25, I would not renew my season ticket. They need to freeze/ reduce season ticket prices for next season, and then they can reduce matchday prices.

this just highlights that absolute absurdity of our ticketing strategy, anyone want top seats cheaper than ssl3 at the back, here you go
Whoever is making these decisions wants sacking and replacing immediately.

A positive for the lack of demand this season is they have this big new shiny stand coming and they’ll need to do something radical to fill it.

Another positive is these ticket tout agencies the club is shamelessly using will be losing money on a lot of our games. They will probably cut ties with City at some point.

I have been onto customer services for over an hour now, after 45 mins wait , a girl called Olivia answers, laughing, asked me how she can help, as soon as I started talking, she hangs up, so I am back in the Q, I pressed the call back option, phone rings once, I answer and they hang up straight away.

They are not losing money as they are taken on sale or return.
Hence why you see rows of tickets at the back of the East and Colin Bell stands come back on sale about 7 days before a match.
Contrary to what alot of people on here believe.

I’m not looking to make excuses but would help to note we have sold the extra 1500 in the away end. I know it’s not ideal but why not leave the away end empty if we know a game has less demand and let it be known it’s the away end…

I’m also not looking to knock any away fan as travelling midweek is true dedication.

As others have said though. There are benefits of being a seasoncard holder. Guaranteed tickets, no hassle in searching and applying for tickets, blended rate across the season. Non-seasoncard tickets could never be £25 for every game, certainly not category A games, the club would just be losing out toouch money.

Genuinely think the issue around its more linked to the parking situation than pricing

We are playing similar amount of games to previous years, the elephant in the room is the co-op opening and no fucker being able to park anywhere

Taking a family of 4 on public transport to a midweek game in Winter, no thanks

It’s been made miles more inconvenient so people are staying away.

At least its out there being reported on, with the backlash internal and external there for the club to see

The backlash is also on our fans who can’t take empty seats jibes. It’s water off a duck’s back to me but some seem to worry about it.

City have already been paid once for most of those seats so they are not losing as much money as the season card holders who can’t get a sale on the Ticket Exchange.

It's becoming a problem around the country at Premiership level.
The authorities and the club's would be wise to heed the signs, they are in danger of destroying their product.
Whether they are clever enough or want to is a different matter.
The product has also been damaged by VAR. Too much stopping and starting. Ruins the thrill of a goal. Most of us don’t want the NFL. It’s what happens when you have a moron like Richard Masters in charge. It is the PL which has allowed PGMOL to re-referee matches. Ticket pricing is only one factor.

And they don't need to be £25/£30 for most league games as they sell out and are generally full. However, tonight when there are clearly thousands of empty seats, why not just set ticket prices like they have for the returned section in SS3 and have sold out. Surely an extra 3/4k fans in the ground paying £30 each is far better than 5k empty seats going to waste, its a fucking no brainer.
