We’re in a unique position.
Liverpool and United are gargantuan clubs with fanbases to match, huge followings in London. Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs are all a tube ride or two away from Wembley.
Newcastle, Everton, Villa, Leeds are all desperate for success and would see Wembley as a huge day out.
I’m completely relaxed about it, I would happily take a reduced allocation and let another club take it for a semi final when we know it’s not an attractive tie.
We all know it shouldn’t be at Wembley and no fucker is paying £150 for a ticket for that.
Now if the ground was a novelty and not so far away with a 30k allocation it might be a different story.

Ticket Exchange doesn’t apply to cup games. Presumably to stop people from selling every home ticket back to the club but still being top of the queue for final tickets by being on the cup scheme.If a supporter is on a cup scheme and chooses not to go, what happens, do you just take the financial hit, or is it like league games where you can allocate it back to the club and you get some money back to cover your direct debit, or re-allocate it to someone on your friends & family list?
Off the back of that, and it’s not really about your post mate, but more generally with those cup schemes does the club do similar as they do with season tickets, does anyone know? In other words, now with season cards I think if they aren’t used for a certain percentage of games they are at risk re renewal (?), but does the same things apply re cup schemes - as in, if they aren’t actually attended by the person named for a certain number/percent of cup games in a season, is the supporter still eligible to go on the scheme the following season?

Not going semi. My lad is ok about it but a,little gutted. We've got Everton away so that's made up for it.
Hard choice as I have probably missed 2 out of the 30 odd is it??
I will be at the final but as a cup scheme member will probably get 1st choice.
I actually agree that people maybe should be awarded for going to this one but the club will just alienate a lot of cup scheme members.
Will be at the final if we get there.
If we win of course!
Not the first time this has happened so it’s no big deal. I’m sure had we not got to the LC final it would be a bigger turn out.
Sunday is all that matters this week.

Another good one is how many times have that giant club Leeds had an average attendance over 40,000 (despite having a 50,000 stadium in the 60s and 70s). The answer is never.

So thats approx 700 sold today. If this trend continues we'll come close to selling out whats currently on sale.
I don't expect tomorrows window to make much impact overall.

I noticed quite a few empties when I was down there on Sunday. Of course, some could’ve been ST holders not turning up, etc, but regarding that stat I’d be interested to know how accessible all their tickets are. For example, are some of their empties hospitality seats which regular fans aren’t going to buy anyway?
Whatever the reasons, the fact that Chelsea have had a few underwhelming seasons will surely be a factor in terms of reduced demand. It happens everywhere if the team isn’t performing. Even at United and Liverpool, albeit it’s less noticeable as they have so many fans waiting in the wings to help take up the slack.

i don't even know why they have limited it, they also are holding blocks back of cheaper seats, none of it makes sense, the fans get no help whatsoever

If the club and Wembley want as many people there as possible, all available tickets should be put up for sale on day 1.
This stupid tactic, to ensure blocks are full with no gaps, is disgraceful.
Why should fans be forced to pay for dearer seats just to make it look good on tele.

I'm not making any wild predictions for the 10am window because it seems every time I do, I end up with egg on my face! All I will say is that there is some potential to help sales along but some of that potential won't be realised if they don't open up some of the cheaper blocks.

An email should be sent to every single person registered with City, including those who have already bought tickets.
