Security at the Etihad

Should stop bags being brought in really, if someone cannot manage without their cheese butties or whisky coffee for a couple of hours then its a sad state of affairs.

There is obviously a certain demographic that should be checked on entry to the stadium, that's the white elephant in the room with all this, but I doubt we would have an outbreak of common sense any time soon.
The thing is, bags and that will be checked this week but come February won't be checked anywhere near in the same way. What's the difference between now and then though? The threat of a bomb in a bag - the way the world is now - is as big on Saturday afternoon as it was a few weeks ago at the last home game.

People have the right I bring bags in so should damn right do so if that's what they usually do.

Doubt it mate its 30p for a piss
haha true, although my question was kind of rhetoric.

Bit harsh to expect people to go away from the stadium, pay money and then potentially need to go out of their way to pick a bag or two up... all in the name of "security".

I guess we'll all just have to get there a bit earlier and put up with (even more) queuing
