If we get offered 20 million we have to get rid, i had this guy as my screensaver bought the shirt and feel cheated. When things are going wrong you look to your so called star players to make a difference as opposed to giving the ball away on his own 18 yard area and then standing there with his arms in the air. I can forgive players without abiltity giving their best and failing but talent like that going to waste is a disgrace.

I never thought in my wildness dreams i would have expected to see a top Brazilian current International playing for us ..and his chum sat on the subs bench waiting to come on ..with another so calledyoung star out of form and being sent out on loan.As a race of people they shine at levels far higher than our premier players ..most from birth only have a ball to play with and fight for food if we look at most of the regions outside the city centers. Robbie has just had hunderds of tons of sand delivered to the farm to use for him .Elano ..Jo and Berti and others to play beach football in just shorts. They are lonely lads and search for friendship and withdraw into their shell when people insult their talents not being able to shout back in local Mancunian. Its far easier to move on looking for fun in being able to play and express the talents and we miss and lack an understanding of Brazilian people we dreamed of having play in the Blue shirt. Between Mark Hughes and alot of the supporters plus Manchester weather they will all move on looking for a place like home. Its sad as Robbie .Elano ..Jo in time would have lite the prem up given freedom of expression and the roar of the crowd. The title of the thread ended with HEART and these two plus one given away to Hull who has shown what he can do into a cold east wind ...tells us it may be years before we learn how to get the best out of talent.

Yeah... I wish we'd got Berbatov on the last day of the transfer window. I mean, everybody (journalists/ pundits/ fans)agrees that he's been a fantastic bit of business by the wonderful, wonderful manager of the world's only football club(TM). Sure, sure, he does have his odd off day, as well as some lazy moments too but hey, you can't argue with a return of eight goals in a settled team that's running away with everything they've entered (except the Super Cup - they didn't want the Super Cup, you see). All from what, a 28 year old in only his third season in English football?

Compare that return to Robinho. Same money (more or less) and what have the world's craziest football club (TM) got in return? A mere 12 goals in a team that's been in a constant state of flux and earlier flirted with the relegation zone. I mean this guy has had lazy moments and off days, so he has, so he has, so he has! And all this is from what, a 23/ 24 year old in his first season in English football?

Yeah, get rid! It's not as if he's one of the top ten players playing the game today, or anything, is it? Get rid and let's just sit back and wait for the rest of the cream of world football to come knocking down our door, when they've seen how well we've handled a ten week spell of indifferent form from the best player we've had in thirty years (including Kinkladze).

This thread is right up there with the guy who demanded the apology, the other night and, that other keyboard hero who wanted to pop Petrov in at left back. Tell ye what lads, give over slavishly following every piece of drivel out of the media, turn off the computer and go out and kick a ball around for an hour. And yeah, I do know Robinho has been off form in the last couple of games. We're also hard up for quality strikers, at the moment. So maybe, just maybe, he hasn't been able to get the well-earned rest from the first team that his earlier performances deserve? PLEASE stop slagging off the best most talented player we have ever had. i spoke to a mate and he is a rag and he said without a doubt after he watched the copenhagen second leg he said Robinho is better than Ronaldo and coming from a biaced united fan that he is that is saying something lets just lay of the lads back and get behind him for god sake i bet its people like the original poster who sit at the ground going for fuck sake why did he do that when he loses the ball instead of singing and getting behind them so they still feel confident to try it again next time.
