Its a fucking con and anybody who says stop moaning or I'm happy to pay £40 is fucking stupid or has more money than sense!
What happened to our owners looking after us, not charging top prices, care for the fans, what a load of bollocks.
Will still pay the money but it has left a bad taste in my mouth and will leave a hole in my wallet just before christmas...

Have you been watching City home and away for long?? Ive paid £30-40 for a number of away games over the past few years. I remember paying £35 to watch us draw to fucking Derby on a freezing wednesday night not long ago and £40 watching us get beat to Reading on a monday night.

The people moaning seem to be fairly new to the football club or blinded by the owners wealth. Look at the price of season cards for example. It costs me around £20 a game to watch City at home this year but im not deluded enough to think my season card will be anywhere near that in the coming seasons. The difference is im prepared to pay it because lets be honest the going rate for a half decent premier league game is gonna set you back £35-50 easily.

I understand people have families but you have to realise that this is a business so if your gonna get your knickers in a twist about paying £40 for a semi final then your best off thinking about watching Bury or Stockport next season because your going to be dissapointed season upon season.

Totally agree, for a Cup SF £40 isn't a bad price. I'm sure the club would have liked to drive it down further but if the rags dug their heels in that's that, if it had gone to arbitration we'd probably have ended up paying top category League prices, which were £46 for Chelsea last Saturday in the East and West stands. Some people have been spoilt by the very low prices for the earlier rounds.

Don't want to jinx anything but if we get to the final, will every seasonticket holder get a ticket ? and can u only get one ticket per seasonticket holder or what ? What is the general policy ?

Cheers

It'll definitely be one ticket per S/T because there probably won't be enough to go around all S/T holders. I know we get a few more tickets for the League Cup final but it won't be more than 30k, if that.

I reckon it will be one per season card just to keep it fair, good thing is the fans get the largest percentage of tickets in the league cup as opposed to the fa cup. I think everyone who has had a season card for more than 1 season is safe and not everyone of them is going to be able to go. Im dreading finding the money for it but hopefully it will be worth it, lets get there first though ;)

Hows about 30 years dickhead

so your obviously deluded by the owners wealth then. Do you honestly expect the Arabs to be handing out charity season upon season and spend hundreds of millions on new players. The point im trying to make is city fans have had it good for since the take over for alot of the cup games and with season card prices but to think this is going to last is stupid. Its not like we are playing fuckin scunthope its United in our first Semi Final for over 25 years. Im skint because of christmas but i asure you i will be pulling out all the stops to make sure im at both.

What has my ability to pay for games anything to do with the wealth off our owners, what the fuck are you on about?
Its a home game, and like I said its gone from one extreme to another, stop making up excuses to justify paying over the odds, off course I want to go and will have to find the money from somewhere, just stop trying to make out its right, because unless you have the money spare then your talking out of your arse.

Just what do you think would have been a reasonable price for the club's biggest match in 28 years against our biggest rivals??

The thing is I think the price is justified. Its just because City fans have been spoilt in a number of games this season that they think it should be case for every game? Ide love it to be cheaper but your paying for a semi final against United. The league game at the Swamp was £50! This is our biggest home game since i can remember so how can you not understand the price increase? Just seems most people on here just want to moan about fucking everything and anything

Well the last time I went it was 2 tickets each, but that was 1976. I only managed to get to the replay in 1981, and in 99 I got mine through the Rochdale Branch of the CSA
