What has my ability to pay for games anything to do with the wealth off our owners, what the fuck are you on about?
Its a home game, and like I said its gone from one extreme to another, stop making up excuses to justify paying over the odds, off course I want to go and will have to find the money from somewhere, just stop trying to make out its right, because unless you have the money spare then your talking out of your arse.

The thing is I think the price is justified. Its just because City fans have been spoilt in a number of games this season that they think it should be case for every game? Ide love it to be cheaper but your paying for a semi final against United. The league game at the Swamp was £50! This is our biggest home game since i can remember so how can you not understand the price increase? Just seems most people on here just want to moan about fucking everything and anything

Show me where I have been moaning about everything and anything...

Don't want to jinx anything but if we get to the final, will every seasonticket holder get a ticket ? and can u only get one ticket per seasonticket holder or what ? What is the general policy ?

Cheers

It'll definitely be one ticket per S/T because there probably won't be enough to go around all S/T holders. I know we get a few more tickets for the League Cup final but it won't be more than 30k, if that.
Last year Spuds and Rags got a little over 31,000

With 34,000 (approx) ST holders gonna be on loyalty points so I am buggered then!!

The club have been more than reasonable with ticket prices ,£95 for my lads season tickets and £1 for most cup games ,we have been to them all now we are in a semi final and my lads tickets are still only a fiver ,so the 3 of us can go to our first semi final in years for £50 , result granted its just before xmas but the club didnt plan that .How much would it cost for us to go to a pop concert to seesome shite band probably a ton , so i think great value to see us kick the scums arse ,plus if it is a bit steep for the time of year its on the box as well so there s your choices. Me i would walk to work for a week to get enough money for this.

Just what do you think would have been a reasonable price for the club's biggest match in 28 years against our biggest rivals??

Not fucking double thats for sure

But the price against Arsenal RESERVES was reduced, £40 isn't double what you'd have paid to watch a league match against Arsenal that's for sure.

Fair enough, still not enough to go round though and don't forget the corporates will cream off a fair few as well.

I was speaking about this board in general, with regards to this thread you have had a pretty good moan about the price of the tickets.

I do not think it is that bad it is a cup semi and against the scum just wish I could be there but must go to work or get the sack as no holidays till the end of Jan

I absolutely hate this talk about "allocations" for a cup final, really really fucks me off.

Football is the fans game, it's supported by the fans, it's our money which props up the game, it's our attendance to games which make it the spectacle it is.

The "FA" have made it into an avenue to make money and a corporate businessman's wet dream.

The fact that each club now has to receive an "allocation", which when the two are added together fall 30 thousand seats short of the stadium's capacity is nothing short of a fucking disgrace.
