boo hoo.....we'll change it just for you then pal.
the cup scheme is fair and everyone knew at the start of the season that supporters who joined the cup scheme would have priority on any away, semi and final tickets.
dont give me that 'cant commit to the cup scheme' bollocks.

....and today's "I'm alright Jack Award" goes to....

So is the general consensus that there`s very little chance of people with over 4,000 points and NOT on the cup scheme getting a ticket ?

By Wednesday 3rd April will there be very little chance that i`ll be able to get the youngen a ticket?
I`m on 5,000 points and not on the cup scheme, youngen on just short of 3,000 and not on the cup scheme.

I`m not moaning by the way, rules are rules. Just want to know my chances.

You can buy 2 junior tickets on your points regardless of their points

thanks for the award......and yes I am alright if thats ok with you.
just wish people would stop fuckin moaning about something that was clearly put in black and white at the start of the season.
if you didn't join the cup scheme.........tough shit, get over it and stop whinging!!

Couldn't agree more with you pal,if you wanted to go cup games join the scheme & go the lot,not jump on the bandwagon at the semi stage

You're the one doing all the moaning, I knew at the start of the season....correct. I couldn't make the commitment, not that that's any of your business in the slightest. But does any of that make it right? Why should somebody who wasn't unfortunate enough to lose their job at the time of renewal like I was, be able to join a cup scheme having possibly never been to a cup/away game in their entire life and be eligible for semi/final tickets before me? Its the way it is I know that, doesn't mean that its right though does it smart arse.

-- Thu Mar 21, 2013 6:52 pm --

Why do people like you talk shit like you know my circumstances, I could have been to every single away game this season, but couldn't necessarily join the cup scheme. The club claims to operate a loyalty point scheme, my loyalty isn't being rewarded when somebody with a thousand points is eligible for a ticket before I am with 7000. Use your loaf mate.

but their loyalty is being rewarded for signing up to the cup schemes and going to all the cup games. that sounds like loyalty to me. you having them points means you get to away games in the league that people on 1000 points can't. its a season ticket, not a season and cup game ticket, unless you sign up to the relevant schemes. why should someone whos been every cup game miss out on the semis? they have been loyal enough to attend the cup games and are being rewarded

So this is my point proven, loyalty points mean nothing, all the cup scheme is, is money talking. Like I said I might not have been able to make the commitment to sign up to the cup scheme and I wasn't as at the time as I lost my job, I've been to every single cup game this season except Villa in the league cup, so please tell me how somebody being able to set up a direct debit in june/july is worthy of being able to get tickets before somebody who goes home and away? I'm not suddenly bitching about it, I will still be able to get a ticket I'm not even slightly worried about that, I just think the cup scheme should be scrapped or if continued tickets should still be on a points only basis for semi's or finals is that really such a bad view to have on it?

As Jimmy Saville might say, fuck the kids.

I'm all for young blues getting the chance to see City, but not at the expense of long serving blues, who genuinely qualify before them.

This "your kid and their mate can jump the queue" bollocks is all about ensuring that the demographic they want to keep in the stands is favoured.

It was bollocks last time they did it and it's bollocks this time.

As is the holding of people to ransom with a cup scheme. The fact that you have a very small chance of getting a cup ticket, regardless of numbers of years served and season tickets held, if you aren't on the cup, yet some bum who hadn't heard of City 12 months ago and is on the scheme will get one is shite.

And yes, I am on the cup scheme and will easily get a ticket. That doesn't stop me thinking that it is bollocks and bent though.

Good opening line and I agree with every sentiment expressed.

Jesus talk about groundhog day,we had all this a couple of years ago, which bit of join the cup scheme and you will get first dibs on semi and final tickets didnt people understand, plus we pretty much got the same amount of tickets as last time and im sure anyone who wanted a ticket got one.All this harking on about its not fair,go to the games you get a ticket its not as though fa cup tickets were extreme in price so just join the cup scheme next time and stop moaning like a load of bitches.

-- Thu Mar 21, 2013 6:22 pm --
