As Jimmy Saville might say, fuck the kids.

I'm all for young blues getting the chance to see City, but not at the expense of long serving blues, who genuinely qualify before them.

This "your kid and their mate can jump the queue" bollocks is all about ensuring that the demographic they want to keep in the stands is favoured.

It was bollocks last time they did it and it's bollocks this time.

As is the holding of people to ransom with a cup scheme. The fact that you have a very small chance of getting a cup ticket, regardless of numbers of years served and season tickets held, if you aren't on the cup, yet some bum who hadn't heard of City 12 months ago and is on the scheme will get one is shite.

And yes, I am on the cup scheme and will easily get a ticket. That doesn't stop me thinking that it is bollocks and bent though.

Good opening line and I agree with every sentiment expressed.

So when my son is old enough for me to buy him a ST, he will never get the chance to go to an away game or cup final with me because he doesn't (and never will) have enough points. That is the reason they can buy when the adult qualifies. They also limit the number of tickets available in this way.

Totally fair in my opinion and I would also agree if I didn't have a son. My dad took me home and away when I was young, which I am sure your dad did for you, and you want to stop that?

I have to say that I have kids on seasoncards and last time got kids with my Adult as I was on cup scheme and had over 8000 points.

That said,I think that long serving Blues should not miss out at the expense of my kids or anyone elses, not right, they will get their chance as us old fcukers die off!

But long serving blues will have enough loyalty points to get one anyway. If your kids have got a ST they should be able to go with their Dads to an important game. They do this for every away game anyway so it is nothing special (Rags away included) just for the semi and final

There are 32k tickets, we have 36k seasoncard holders

Therefore it's very likely that every seasoncard holder who wants a ticket will get one - not every seasoncard holder is going to go. I'd be surprised if more than 75% go.

I think it will go to City members if not general sale

How certain are you that we have 36k ST holders

We had a cap of 36,500 in the season ended 2012 according to the Annual Report. I would think it would be the same again this season.

does anybody no what the last semi and final points went down to before selling out. a mate of mine only has 2500 points and is worrying he wont get one.cheers!

Is he on the cup scheme?

If not, he should still be able to obtain a ticket. IIRC, every SC holder, who wanted a SF ticket two years ago, was able to buy one.

And I reckon demand will be lower this time, as the novelty has worn off slightly.

From memory the semi-final went to around 1750pts, certainly below 2,000. But of course that 2,000 figure is probably equivalent to nearer 3,000 now with 2 more years of double points, cup schemes etc. Like others I reckon every S/T holder who wants one will get one.

The Final sold out much higher because of the smaller allocation but I can't recall the exact amount.

anyone know how many £50 tickets for the lower level behind the goal have we got?
