Semi tickets go on sale?

Cant see me or my lad getting tickets, only got 2700 points a piece, joined the CL scheme this season so next its going to be the FA Cup scheme.

Mate of mine has only missed 2 league home games in 18 years, hes got 4000 points and he will be scrabbling around for leftovers.

Will it go down to gold season ticketholders?

Fuck it anyway, going down with or without tickets
if your mate is a season card holder and only missed two games at home in 18 years he would have nearly double 4000 points

I think what would be fair is cup scheme first then back up to 8000 then down a 1000 each day.
i agree

it's not fair when someone on 10,000 points is treated the same as someone on 1000 points

I make it short of 5k if no cup, aways, friendlies etc were attended. But if no cup matches have been attended then there can't be any complaints. For the first season or so you only got 100 points on top of the 1500.

I got a ticket for the last semi but the cup scheme priority back then made me realise I needed to join it.
So I joined the scheme for the last two seasons. Now if the club didnt give priority to cup scheme this time around then I'd be pretty pissed off because I joined the scheme so I would get priority.
People including myself knew the score - join the cup scheme and get a ticket or don't join it and possibly miss out. It's not difficult

Me too. I also managed to get tickets for both the 2011 semi and final but only because I had enough Loyalty Points. It made me realise that being in the FAC Scheme is a no brainer. Particularly so with City pegging the prices for home games to extremely reasonable levels so I joined it for the past 2 seasons.

At least this time around the Club has set the criteria on the basis of Loyalty Points as well as Cup Scheme. Unlike 2 yrs ago when anyone on the Cup Scheme was guaranteed a ticket regardless of points earned. That WAS something to carp about.

You can't please all of the people all of the time. I don't see how much fairer this could have been and no matter what the system is there will always be some who woman about it.

The Cup Scheme has worked well this season with sell-out crowds and a great atmosphere for all the games. Anyway, I would expect that anyone with 3,000 pts will get a ticket - Cup Scheme or not. Those on the Scheme and with the most points should get first dibs and before anyone asks, I'm not in the 8,000 group - I need to wait until Thurs to get mine.

Is there a limit on how many tickets you can buy online? I have about 8 season tickets that i wouldnt mind purchasing tickets for, all sat together. Is that possible?

If they've all got the required points stick them in "Family and Friends" - you'll need their supp. numbers, d.o.b and postcode I think.

Yeah i've already done that, only ever bought 6 together. I'm sure i read that the limit is 6 tickets but i dont know where i've read that or whether i've made it up.

Just searched the T&Cs and the only reference to a limit is 6 maximum via the viagogo exchange.

thats bollox mate, i`ve had mine since 84 and never missed more than 2 home games in any one season and i`ve only got 5000, i think points only started when we changed from ticket to card so some of the old school die hards who dont do so many aways now are missing out.

That's correct. Points don't always tell the whole story. I've been supporting City for over 50 yrs but only had a Seasoncard since we moved to Eastlands. Thus my points are nowhere near what I'd like them to be. That's life.

For many years I paid at the turnstile and collected programme vouchers. No arguing about Cup Schemes in those days !

if he has been to no cups then he can't really be complaining as you say, pretty ironic

up until the year before last my kids had rarely been to aways, two a year probably, but every home game and they were nigh on 600 points

I wonder how many tickets have been taken from the allocation for Supporters?

The following groups will receive an allocation of tickets for this match: Supporters, Seasonal Hospitality Supporters, Owner, Board of Directors, Football Management, Players, Club Officials and Staff, Former Players, Club Partners and the MCFC Supporters Club.

Good that there are no additional charges such as postage and booking fees for those who book online.
