Is this an older person thing because I quite simply dont understand why people get worked up about the colour of football boots. Why black does it actually make a difference

Does Sinclair know you've taken a picture of his new boots for the final?
 
My first decent screw ins were Adidas Beckenbauer which I loved
I later got some Pumas which were really comfy to play in think they might have been "Kempes"

These things they play in today are like a parody of proper football boots. Meh
