Last season, even with restricted movement, Sergio scored 21 in 25, and one or two on here thought he was on the slide !!!!! The op has restored his mobility. In terms of goals to minutes on the pitch, he is officially the Prem's greatest ever striker. I reckon injury has robbed him of at least 50 goals. Just a joy to watch.Lovely to see him quickly moving the ball away from a defender both ways and clinically finishing again. He hasn't quite been the same player for the last few seasons since he did his knee in.
Without a shadow of doubt, he's the greatest - and we've had a few special ones. The greatest striker to wear a 'Manchester' shirt full stop. The greatest striker to ever wear the city shirt, legend :)
Denis Law in his prime might have given him a run for his money.Without a shadow of doubt, he's the greatest - and we've had a few special ones. The greatest striker to wear a 'Manchester' shirt full stop.
I know Denis was unbelievable. We had him before his prime and again when he was past his best. Denis scored incredible volleys from hospital passes and didn't get enough credit at Manure. Sergio is doing it in an era when there are fewer passenger players in the top flight.Denis Law in his prime might have given him a run for his money.
How the hell do we replace him?
I don't like to think about that one, nor the same question re David and Vinnie..............................and Pep.How the hell do we replace him?
