Sergio Aguero 2015/16 performances

This has to be a joke.
PFA nominees for POTM January are Rooney, Kane & Firmino. WTF
Rooney scores 4 premier league goals, Aguero scores 5.

Scored another top header again after once again creating naff all for him. He's actually dropping deeper just to get the ball and create something. Yesterday it looked like he was trying to do Silva/Sterling/Yaya's job. Looked sharper when Iheanacho came on and he had someone around him. Has to be him and Kelechi on the pitch in some way, even if it means Kelechi dropping behind him to make up the numbers further back.

Also the type of service is piss poor to him, when did it become that we keep asking Aguero to scored headed goals?

He actually played very slightly deeper than Sterling.

Tries to do too much at times but hard to blame him for that.

He's actually a very good header of the ball, the problem is he needs to lose his (taller) marker to be able to make use of that ability, which he has done quite successfully this season.

Ignored players in much better positions yesterday whilst trying to take on two or three players at a time. His general play wasn't great.

I agree for a man of his size his heading ability is really good but thats the issue what you mentioned, he has to lose players with half a foot on him just to get half a sniff. Only looked like he might get a chance at his feet when Iheanacho came on.

Just watched his goal again, takes it so well...how much shit would we be in without this fella?

Starting to feel sorry for him with the supply he's been getting. He'd be scoring a hat-trick every week in a team like Bayern or Barca. Along with the defence, the supply he's receiving should be the first thing Pep addresses.

I think when we play him up top on his own like in the 2nd half yesterday we leave him hanging out to dry, but in a 2 or a 4-3-3 where the wingers actually support him he gets a bit more space to weave his magic. I'm sure like many I shit myself when he went down after scoring, luckily it was only a knock because if he gets injured again then I wouldn't back us to win anything.

Also a special mention to what Sunderland thought of his goal:

I think we'd be fucked without him

he wasn't trusting his teamates at all yesterday, such was the frustrating nature of our play
