He's perfectly fine playing as a lone striker the problem is a lack of support, for me, Silva can't play wide in a 4-3-3/4-5-1 he has to play centrally as one of the 3 with 2 wide men not only offer width but also come in from the line and support the striker. Navas has never done this and never will, which means it's down to whoever is wide left to offer the support. When it's Silva he wants and is best suited to being the guy playing the balls for the runners and the support but he's in a position where he should be the runner. It's a simple thing to change with the players we've got and Pep will sort this out easily next season. If he stays fit, he'll have his most productive season ever for us next year, as will Silva.
There were a couple of instances where Bony had a go at Kun for not playing him in, sometimes Kun thinks he has to do it himself then misses loadsBony had a great chance today to play a simple pass and put Kun through on goal. Instead, he tripped over the ball. Kelechi would have played that ball in his sleep. The sooner we get KDB back the better as he seems to be the only midfielder on the same wavelength as Kun this season. It's really sad and disheartening to watch.
