He had a shot first half when he ran across to the left and shot low at the near post.

Yeah I remembered that one he hit from the left side... impossible angle really, thought he should have took the shot earlier with more of the goal to aim at from further out.

Looked sharp and interested. No whiff of frustration about him today.
Just needs one to go in before he rattles off a bundle.

That's my take. He's snatching a little bit. He used to curl everything at the corners but has resorted to twatting it.

Noticeably more involved today but still nowhere near good enough in my opinion. Still holds onto the ball too long and still getting caught standing offside when we need him.

Improvement though.

I think at times he's holding onto the ball and hesitating because he's conflicted. Not confident enough in his passing ability to play the killer pass but knows he should.

I really think the hard work he's putting in now will pay off, he'll get some goals and the confidence will go up, and then everything's else will happen more naturally as well.

I have to agree.He's giving it a go but he still looks a square peg in a Pep team.

He's an awesome talent but i think we can find a better fit.So,regrettably,i'd be looking to cash in while his stock his still high.

I can't remember him having a shot today(bar that one he took from out wide) but I the more I think back to the game the more I remember how hard he was working closing down from the front he looked genuinely knackered towards the end of that game, it didn't go unnoticed from me.

How fickle are people btw? A few games without scoring and he's suddenly not a top striker anymore? ... Costa is? I wonder what they were saying for the last couple of seasons about him. He will get his scoring boots back in no time he's got 16 goals already this season is it?

Last season also, there were loads of rubbish matches. Add to that, his ever declining ability to influence big matches - 2 of his last 39 goals against the top 6 I read earlier today.

Great, he ran around a lot today. The fact it's split between whether people think he played well today, or offered very little in the way of a striker tells me it wasn't a top performance.

He's had a handful of impressive matches this season. Let's not forget he had 12 of those goals by October, it's not exactly vintage Kun. Yes he's adored, yes he's been brilliant for us, yes he scored that goal, but no one should be invincible. And we've had too many over the recent few years that seemingly are. If he gets his mojo back consistently for the rest of the season, then thank god, but he needs to for our sake, and his.

That's just it we've been over reliant on Aguero, he's scored 11 goals in 14 PL games , that's not actually that bad and when you say he's been crap and hasn't been influential that's just your own personal opinion, he's had a few bad games over the last few seasons but they are rare as rocking horse shit really for me. He shouldn't be running the show on his own with the team we have and we shouldn't be expecting that of one player. He might not have scored today but some of us clearly pay more attention and appreciate the side of the game that goes unnoticed by many, closing down from the front, running the channels, moving their back line about creating space for others... his movement in general is top draw.
