Sergio Aguero - 2016/17 performances

Can't believe some of the comments here.

He's out of form in front of goal, but he put in one hell of a shift today, and one of the reason Sané and Sterling got so many chances was because he was pulling the spurs defence all over the place and they were running into the gaps left behind.

He came deep, ran between the lines of defence and midfield, bombed down the channels, all he's missing is a bit of form in front of goal and I think we can put that down to the fact he's trying to do something new, a new and unfamiliar role.

I think Pep will be very happy with the him today, and will consider our attack pretty much sorted with Sané, Sterling, Sergio and Jesus.

yup pretty much agree with all of that.....him with GJ and Sane could really cuase problems for defense as they all can finish...thats the problem with sterling..he is the odd one out when it comes to this.....Sterling has an amzing work ethic but some of his passing and in particular his finishing/composure in critical moments is still lacking.

some people on here aerr just like kids with new toys...they dump the old ones as soon as the new one comes along...we see it all the time.........

I really thnk that Kun and GJ could be very good for each other

Couldn't understand why he passed wide to KdB when he had an excellent shooting opportunity in the 2nd half, usually he's all over that sort of chance. Otherwise it was a definite improvement on recent performances.

Put in a good shift but picked the wrong passes or didnt pass at all when he should have..For example there were a few times he could have quite easily put Sane clean through on goal but for reasons unknown he didn't.

Fo an experienced player some of his decision making at times is strange and he quite often kills our speed of attack by hanging onto the ball too long or trying to do too much or by just NOT seeing the big picture. Against Spurs when he had a chance to easily slot Sane in right in front of goal he ignored it instead putting the ball out wide to De Bruyne, it was really strange. He chooses to widen the shooting angle for himself quite often and make life much harder I know he worked hard but was dissapointing for me.

ran about a lot but that's it. Played like he was only going to be on the pitch for an hour, and if he's never going to work when to be selfish and when to be selfless then he's had it. Took the ball on and had a wasteful left foot shot when he should have stood still and taken the freekick for De Bruyne in a dangerous position, he allowed the ref to play advantage and wasted it. Then in front of goal passed it to De Bruyne out wide when 2 years ago he'd have buried it. Make your fucking mind up punk, getting fed up of not winning games where we annihilated the opposition because you keep balls'ing it up.

Yep, very strange it was, very strange... Made a number of odd decisions

I think of the starting 11 him and Clichy were awful and it's signalling the end for Sergio

Wow. He's not at the top of his game at the moment but neither is any City player but boy, what a comment on one of the world's greatest players.

I'm afraid he's not one of those anymore on the last year or sos showing.

I'm sorry but he was crap yesterday, he had so many great chances to let Sane through on goal and kept making the wrong decision every time and it cost us in the end.
